Nice little bar, but key word on "little". It's world famous, sure, and for good reason! The mermaids are cool, and definitely worth checking out! However, I don't personally find it enough to draw me back. The environment is very fitting, but it is a small bar, and it starts to feel crowded with only a handful of people. The drinks are great, and the staff is friendly. But you do pay a bit more on basic drinks. The fishbowl is the signature drink here, and, much like the bar, worth at least a trip in! But not worth a regular visit in my eyes. It's a very tourist-y kind of bar, and just doesn't seem to be a good place for local (at least me) to make part of my routine.

World famous for the "mermaids". Worth a quick stop in with friends for a fishbowl and maybe a picture. Small bar with tiki decor..quickly fills up on weekends and holidays. Piano pat plays her piano as she has done for years. Not the cheapest drinks you can find downtown but defiantly a place many (including celebrities) choose for a picture with the mermaids! If you decide to go check out other bars on central avenue each with there own quirks. This is also a hotel and restaurant that has a great breakfast!! I highly recommend A stop at historic Club Cigar on Central. Serving locals in Great Falls for over 100 years. Or newly added The Mighty Mo brewery locally owned and operated.

Loved it. Live mermaids. Not sleazy, kids can come and have fun too. Must visit for great falls

The staff is super friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is pretty loud. You can hear everything going on around you! Cars driving by to your neighbor's conversations. My room was pretty clean and welcoming. This place is a gem considering the questionable neighborhood it's located in. Mermaids are so cute and I was impressed how well they stayed in character. Drinks are priced pretty high but overall a good experience .

A GQ article is one thing, experiencing it first hand is quite another. Definitely go if you're in Great Falls. Be sure to check their schedule for the mermaids and Piano Pat schedule
