Delicious! We started with grilled carrots sorry we took the pic after eating some of the carrots which had balsamic, butter and bits of grilled peaches and maybe apple...so, so, so good. Our entrees were the pork chops and the striped bass. Both were outstanding. Topped off the meal with strawberry shortcake made with Phyllis dough. Yum! Our drinks were excellent as well...Remember the Maine, and a Lavender Greyhound Excellent hospitality too. Glasses of prosecco were brought to our table to help us celebrate our special day. Definitely recommend The Arvada Tavern.
Solid choice for any meal. Excellent service, even though it was busy. Delicious burger and steak. For the appetizer definitely go with the Peach Crostini. Although the portions are a bit small, it's crushingly good. Staff works hard, front and back of the house. Good job gang.
This place was so much cuter than we were expecting. It has a swanky, romantic, speakeasy kind of vibe. The cocktails were amazing and the food was SO good. We were extremely happy with everything.Food: 5/5
This place is AMAZING! I’ve never been disappointed by any of the food or drinks that I’ve ordered! And on top of that the service is always great when I go here. Their lavender greyhound cocktail is dangerously easy to drink.
Easily the best nouveav tiki experience in the metro. I can’t enough recommend the normal bar for its superior combination of food/drinks/service. However, as they say in Spain, the mejores de todas is the resplendent return of the upstairs tiki experience. The Tavern Team has put on a stellar combination of darkened mystical atmosphere, intimate convivial vibe-ations, and the broadest range of trópico imbibements this side of the equator. Top-shelf combos made with appreciative care in the mostest south-seas venue in all the Southwest. And did I mention the live music? Get your California surf, folk, jqzz, and Buddy Holly bandstanding all at the upstairs of the Arvada Tavern. Come on over soon as you can navigate thisaways. Aloha amigo!!
Great place, great hospitality, great service. I have no complaints about this place as it is well rounded. Great custom drinks and spectacular bar food. I will come again next time. Thanks for spectacular service!
Great food great atmosphere! Went for a birthday celebration and had a fantastic time. We were a slightly larger group and the staff were super friendly and accommodating. Drinks were delicious as well as the food - highly recommend the chicken schnitzel. We were able to bring in a dessert to celebrate for a little bit of an extra charge and it was so worth it! Even surprised the table with a celebratory drink on the house. Loved our experience here, can’t thank the staff enough for making it a great experience, shout-out to Megan for being so attentive to our group! Can’t wait to come back again.
I have a cocktail here and consider moving to Arvada because this place just feels like everything that is missing in just about every neighborhood in metro Denver, JeffCo - heck the Front Range. Yeah, you're getting a lot in the the $13 cocktail that's being mixed with such devotion you feel like you and the bar tender have a connection, and you've been missing that in your life lately. And the syrups and the recipes actually have integrity and commitment behind them, so much so that the staff seems to understand when you start licking the inside of your glass - the drinks are just that good, and really, who cares? The bartenders and owners do - to let your worries go and let the Tavern hold you up, even for just one drink. You need it, and your cat needs some space.
The cocktails were pretty good. The peach pecan salad I ordered was honestly terrible. They were out of peaches so we subbed for pears totally fine and I added grilled chicken but the salad as a whole was warm, the vinaigrette dressing tasted like it was made with chicken fat and there was minimal other toppings. I left pretty disappointed but the server was good :
One of my favorite restaurants in Denver. Better for a date night than an evening with kids. It’s fairly expensive for the area, but it has a cool atmosphere, really good cocktails and delicious food. I will say I miss the old German bread and cheese. They switched it to a cold version and I miss the old warm guda one! But overall, wonderful local restaurant
