Even though we showed up just before closing, the staff acted like the shift just started. They were friendly, respectful and accommodating. The buffet was fresh and full and steaks were cooked to perfection. It was date night, and Sirloin Stockade made the perfect ending. Wow! Was traveling across the country, when the group decided to stop and have dinner at Sirloin Stockade. Everyone there was super friendly and the food was really good! Lots of options, steak, seafood, chicken, salad bar, and plenty of good deserts! Highly recommend visiting!
An older brand that hasn't really changed much. The buffet choices are mostly the same as what I remembered from maybe 20 yrs ago last time I was at a Sirloin Stockade. Which is maybe a good thing, it was the middle of the afternoon and the place was full of mostly elderly folks who one might assume will like things just how they are! The food was fresh and all the pans were being replenished as needed. That's important at a buffet in the middle of the day. What I did notice was a general lack of salt in the dishes I tried. Everything had to be slightly seasoned at the table. I've no problem with that and possibly part of the lure for the older crowd. The restaurant was clean and well staffed, with some friendly waitresses. Restrooms were clean and there is plenty of free parking. Handicap access inside and out.
Great food bar every time I am in town. They never fail to deliver the freshest salad and food bar around. It isn't huge, but it's fresh, well stocked, always clean and delicious! I recommend a nice salad and then the shrimp and catfish, which are always being served, and don't forget a backed sweet potato and the rolls, which are really good right out of the oven. Yum! Vegetarian options: There are lots of veggie options on the salad bar for a vegetarian or vegan diner to feel satisfied as well with the vegetable and fruit options. Kid-friendliness: This restaurant is definitely a child and family-friendly location. They have high chairs and booster seats available for use if needed. There is a very large dining area available for large groups as well. Parking: There is a large parking lot and plenty of parking at the restaurant for people to park. There is room for larger vehicles as well as busses, and the parking lot has a back exit as well and is basically a "pull-thru" situation for larger vehicles, vehicles pulling trailers, etc. Wheelchair accessibility: This restaurant does have handicap parking and good wheelchair accessibility.
My fiancee and I went to sirloin stockade for my birthday. It was good! The only thing was that the server did not offer us a baked potato. But it was okay because we were stuffed! The atmosphere was very pleasant and our server was very attentive. Definitely will be going back! Parking: Need to get there early because it is a popular place! It fills up fast!
The food is hot and the staff keep up with keeping it full, so you're not waiting for fresh food. The only negative I saw on this trip, was when a woman was getting some soup, which sits down lower on a table, her scarf kept falling forward onto the soup lid and edges of the soup container. Otherwise, a terrific place to eat for sure!
Great buffet. Fried catfish is awesome! Service was kinda slow, but it was a Sunday after church. So it wasn't bad. Expected for time of day.Food: 5/5
Tableware was dirty, chicken was dry, pumpkin pie was rubbery and tasted like shampoo! Cake was dry, tomatoes were green. Steak was extremely salty. The only reason I'm giving it two stars is because we had a great server!Food: 2/5
The only positive thing I can say about this restaurant is that i like the atmosphere. Other than that every other aspect of Sirloin Stockade was atrocious. Everything that was a fried food was softer than a marahmallow with no crispyness or cruch anywhere, the meats were all flavorless, and everything at the dessert bar was dry and hard except for the bread pudding which just seemed like it was 2 days old.
This use to be a good place to go now they got a bunch of employees that don't care about customer service. They lack in the kitchen. They lack in communication skills. If something is wrong with your order they tell you they can't control what happens. It sad to see a place like this to go down hill so fastFood: 2/5
