This is a great place to get breakfast and just a short walk from the Hilton on the Financial district where we stayed. I loved the music and style of this place. I got the Forestier and My husband got the traditional eggs Benny and both were very tasty.Food: 5/5
Get there fast or you’ll be waiting for a table. It’s small and quaint, but beautifully decorated on the inside. Service was quick, food was great, and they even have a full espresso bar with hot and iced beverages. The brioche French toast sounds decadent and rich, but it’s not super sweet which I personally loved. The breakfast potato’s are cooked to perfection and crispy not soggy like some places are. Everything was very fresh and presented well. Pardon the photo quality, the lighting in there made it difficult to get a good shot of the back library wall.
The French toast is very good. Eggs I have doubts they are quality eggs. Price is good, but not the $6 coffee even with refill. But service is minimal. My glass of water has been empty and they see it. But you have to tell them to pour. In addition, party of 5 and more they automatically charge you 18% for tips. I feel given their right to charge you tips in advance, the servers have less incentive to serve you. At the end you don't even see an itemized print bill. Party of over 6 people makes more sense of the demanded 18% tips. Still show your services to at least earn your tips.
4 min walk from The Hilton! We make it an effort to not eat anything we would eat, where we are home. April was Great and suggested everything. We order the Alcatraz Escape w/Garlic toast and French Toast Brioche w/sweet milk I will never eat another American style French toast. They make their own bread! Highly recommended stop
Seriously a hidden gem! Brunch was absolutely amazing one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. The service and staff are so sweet and friendly and the space itself and atmosphere is just as high of quality. Such an inviting beautiful place to eat. The choice selection of food just enough to interest everyone but not so much it’s overwhelming. Flavorful, inventive and just yummy!!!!
The vibe is immaculate and so is the food! Definitely worth coming here- we had the Florentine Benny and latte and both were 10/10. Bartender is also very skilled at making drinks- was great to watch!Food: 5/5
A cute, hidden brunch spot but with small portions for the prices. My friend and I visited on a Saturday around 12pm and were seated right away, though their dining room was quite full when we arrived. I ordered the country style scramble without onions and the tiger latte and my friend ordered Alcatraz Escape and the No Rain No Flower drink. I quite enjoyed the tiger latte and my scramble was delicious, however, I did not think the portions for the scrambles were fair given the prices.
This was great - food and coffees were both really good, lovely atmosphere and fast and attentive service. A highlight so far. Recommend the Traditional eggs Benedict, and I chose a side of French onion soup which was very tasty!
What a surprise to walk into this retro decorated brunch spot. The food is beyond expectation. We had fried chicken egg benefit with green basil dressing, prawn taco, and the special french brioche. I recommend all of them.Food: 5/5
Really, cute French-style, Thai-inspired hole in the wall place. You’ll almost miss it if you aren’t looking for it. A hidden gem that I would highly recommend for an Asian twist on brunch.Food: 5/5
