Having grown up around some of the best diners in NYC, I can say that this NJ spot is up there. Very friendly staff and excellent food, I travel over 30 min to eat here even with some closer options.

I visited this location while in town with family. I wasn't impressed with the overwhelming menu and lackluster waitstaff. No personalities. Seafood bisque was tasty. Gyro was not authentic at all. Not willing to substitute fries for anything. Not even given the option to pay extra. They were out of my first choice of food. Even the bathroom needed an overhaul. Leaking flusher and double sinks in a single toilet room without a stall. 
I don't see myself going back.

What a wonderful establishment. Show up any time day or night, and get treated with the same amazing food. Been a cozy place for me to visit with friends for a long time, and whether I show up drunk looking for disco fries, or show up sober looking for a delicious meal, Six Brothers has got me covered. Awesome diner

This diner is more spacious and open feeling than other "cozy" NJ diners.  Wait staff is on the older side, so they can be a little forgetful / slow, but they get the job done, and the food is exactly what you expect from a NJ diner.

My friends and my ecperience today was one we have never experienced before. Apparently their regular chef was out and whoever they had cooking, was unable to prepare a meal on a way that you could enjoy. No flavor to ANYTHING, rolls stale, etc. Will never go back there. Horrible food.
