This is not a negative review, just my opinion on the overall experience I had/my observations of what kind of place it is : Kind of hole in the wall, old man bar vibes. It's more of a neighborhood regulars bar I think. No frills and that's fine. Just depends on what you're looking for. It's pretty small and they have the bar seating and then like card tables to sit at and whatever. They have one pinball machine and a smoking area outside. Our drinks came in larger plastic Dixie cups. Which is cool cuz I assume there was more liquor if the cups were that big. No parking lot. Open late, til 1 or 2am. Open later than most of the rest of the places. Affordable. Once again really nothing fancy. A lot of the people seemed like regulars. Bathrooms were clean. I'd go here again in a pinch.
Neighborhood place with fun jutebox, lots of TVs, wall pull tabs, pool table and reasonable drinks.
Great local bar! They're open until 2 AM. They have pub games and one of the nicest bartenders I've met! They will work with you when it comes to COVID restrictions. There's a pool table and darts, too!
We went to this bar last night. We waited on one side of the bar for over twenty minutes as the bartender kept serving the same area of the bar. People would walk in and get drinks immediately if they walked to that spot. After getting her attention because she was purposely refusing to look at us as she would walk by she said she would serve us after she finished the drinks she was making. More people walked into the bar and waited over by us then they decided to walk to the area she kept serving. She finished the drinks that she was making and instead of coming back down to serve us, proceeded to serve the people that just walked in. When we said something, she was very rude. Our group of 6 left without getting a single drink. Horrible service. Rude bartender.
Okay, I really wasn't expecting much when I went in... Small, not much curb appeal. Inside, don was at the bar. A quiet guy but VERY attentive. Best bar service I've seen in a long, long time. No food though - EXCEPT for the amazing pizza. not the cheap pizza that most places have, this was amazing. I think a fellow patron called it Heggies. Anyhow, WOW! Prices = good. Service = Excellent. Tabs... guy at the bar won twice in 5 minutes o $1 tabs, $300 each time. Lesson, don't judge a book by it's cover! Try it out. I'm glad I did!
Anna is the best bar tender that I have ever had the pleasure of being served by her! She is super friendly a great conversationist that makes you feel very comfortable when you are in this establishment. I will be returning to this place. Thank you Anna.
This might be a small bar but it has great service and drink prices! Bartenders are on it when you are needing another. No kitchen, however Heggies pizza s are available. Cant beat a bar pizza and a cold one on a simple night. While your waiting for the pizza to cook they have plenty of pull tabs and electronic tabs to keep you busy. They open early and close late. Even open on holidays. Check out Skarda's if your on West 7th!
Small joint, not a ton of seating..but the drinks are good, the music is fun and the bartender is loud, fun and not afraid to speak her mind. You are treated like a regular, even if your not.
Bartender missy very rude Disrespectful!! Think she’s tough and owns the place! Very unfriendly and if your not a regular there you will be treated with disrespected! AWFUL place if you aren’t one of there own! Lived around the area for a Very Long time and never been treated with so much disrespect!
