This venue is absolutely gorgeous! We contracted with them for our wedding, and overall we were very happy with our choice. However, there are a few things we noticed. 

First of all, we signed the contract with one lady, and then ended up talking to 3 different people before meeting Dayna who ended up helping us the day of, and she is amazing. She is patient and knowledgeable. Having so many different people in the mix did make things confusing at times. 

My caterer ended up not having enough access to power for her warmers, but she was able to improvise. The staff on site the day of are very accommodating. My caterer wishes there was more space for prepping and staging food, and having an indoor room instead of an outdoor canopy would have been great, but we made it work and everyone ate well. 

The lights around the banister at the ceremony space were supposed to be lit up, and when we reported it to the maintenance staff (different than the wedding staff), they said they did not know why they weren't working instead of actually looking into it.

The bistro lights provided are a nice touch. They provide the right amount of lighting for the dance floor, as well. I did not have to rent additional lighting. 

The grounds themselves are beautiful. Everyone wanted pictures of the red rock views, and guests were able to walk around the grounds and explore during the cocktail hour if they did not want to remain in the reception space. I could not imagine having my wedding anywhere else! 

As for the guest rooms, they have been recently renovated and they are beautiful, but some of the renovations seem to have been rushed. The shower in the bridal suite gets clogged very easily so you end up getting a bath and a shower. I wish there had been some sort of bench or bar to put your leg up on to shave. I ended up doing some fun yoga poses to shave the day of my wedding. :)

My mother-in-law was less than impressed with the kitchenette she paid extra for. The fridge was the same size as the ones in the other rooms. It seems the only difference was that there was an extra sink. With hosting weddings, the kitchenette should have full sized or at least larger refrigerators to accommodate for families gathering for the occasion. 

My husband stayed in a separate room the night before the wedding, and there were several maintenance issues with his room. 

Beyond all that, the beds were comfortable and the rooms were cozy. The bridal suite was large enough to accommodate 3 beauty stations for the wedding day, and there were probably at least a dozen people in that room at one point without feeling too stifled. 

Overall, we are very happy with our choice, but there is definitely some room for improvement. Hopefully, with a new wedding coordination team in place, they can make this place into the perfect wedding venue! We do plan on coming back for another visit some time in the future.

Arrived after midnight, which sucks because there was likely an amazing sunset the previous evening. I had called beforehand about the lateness of my arrival and the staff had as expected put my key on the door outside. The property was very clean, and nice to sit outside by the ponds in the morning and probably in the evening.  The rooms were clean and comfy. I was only there a night, but the views in the morning were great and I hope to return for more than a night in the future.

Overall, a great hotel. The outside is beautifully maintained which consists of various flowers/plants and great garden areas. The staff are super friendly, especially the ones who are outside all day maintaining the property. There are great views, even if you can't see them from your window, you only have to take a short walk to see Sedonas wonderful rock formations. The only down side I would say is that the beds are very loud and creeky and the bathroom is very tiny and the shower isn't the greatest. Other than that, the location and cleanliness of the hotel is superb.

I love this place! It's got the best views in town, it is exquisitely maintained, the grounds are beautiful ,the rooms are well-maintained and clean. This place is also pet friendly . I stay here every time I come to visit Sedona  I highly recommend this place.

Room smelled funny, had to air it out. Bed was a rock. Grounds were beautiful! And the lookout patio was wonderful to watch the sunset and stargaze.
