They are awesome. They're super fast and moved my stuff with speed and care. They got all the tools for my move. And all my furniture arrived without a scratch. Plus they didn't complain about the stair in my apartment at all. I definitely gonna call these guys when I move in the future!

Very surprised by the negative reviews... but I can say they did a great job with my move. Movers were professional and efficient. My items arrived in the same condition they left in. I'm happy. Thank you Sky Van Line!

Zero stars. THE WORST MOVING COMPANY!!!!!!! They had my things for 3 weeks longer than the had originally told me and when I wondered where my things went, no one would answer the phone!! I thought this company was a fraud until I get a call on a Thursday telling me they are going to deliver my things on the NEXT DAY WITH NO WARNING!! They moved my things, punched a hole in my wall, and broke my desk. When I called to get a claims form, guess what?!! NO ONE IS ANSWERING THEIR PHONE!!!! THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE SPARE YOURSELF THE HEARTACHE AND FIND A DIFFERENT COMPANY!!! The only peace I have is that someone might read this review and not go through the same awful experience.

WORST MOVING COMPANY & EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD TO ENDURE!! DO NOT USE!! AND DO NOT CONFUSE WITH "SKY VAN LINES". I mistakenly read the reviews for the company which has an extremely similar name and very positive reviews, and I can only imagine that this company used the non-plural version of the name to ride on the coattails of a successful company. I have had to move 4 times in the last 4 years due to work, and Sky Van Line has been the absolute worst moving company I have worked with! After filling out the online inventory as honestly as I could so I could receive the most accurate quote, on pick-up day, the foreman immediately comes in and starts pointing out items that add cost. "This item is way bigger than the averages we use to calculate the quotes...", "Wrapping these items will be extra..." etc. The additional costs TRIPLED...yes TRIPLED, my original quote. This was BS and I've never had any other moving company do this to me. But I was in a bind as I needed to be out of the apartment and on the road the next morning...there was no time to send them away and get a new moving company in who wouldn't pull this BS. I had no other choice than to throw pieces of furniture away, move items myself in my car, etc., to get the cost down a small fraction, which still ended up DOUBLING MY ORIGINAL QUOTE. Even after many conversations and pushing for the company to right this wrong, they only offered a $50 discount and had sent me an agreement letter saying that if I wanted to receive such a discount I could not post any reviews...anywhere. F#$@ that... DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

AVOID USING THIS COMPANY! I have never written a 1-star review and wish that I didn't feel compelled to write this one. We booked our move with Allied Moving Group -- what we were not made aware is that they are a broker and contracted out our move with Sky Van Lines. We were originally quoted a cost of $2438. Cost was supposed to be based on actual weight. We requested payment by credit card, and also that they have a truck that could handle dirt, mountain roads. We went with them because they promised all of this, said it was included in our quote, and seemed to be very responsive. In addition, they promised a 3-5 day delivery. Moving day came and the drivers came in an unmarked truck. They started loading our items before they ever showed us the paperwork. They sent a 2-man team that took 7.5 hours to load our belongings. It's only my husband and I, and we did not have a lot of things to move. We lived in a 2-bedroom home and do not have a lot of "stuff." When we began asking them about the delivery and how it would all work, we started to understand that these guys didn't work for Allied. They then told us they would be loading our items on this smaller truck only to drive to a warehouse, unload and reload onto a larger truck. During the loading, we requested that ALL items in the master bedroom be packed and loaded. Now that we have arrived at our new home, we have found out they left our king sized, Tempurpedic mattress at our old house. Shame on us for assuming they would do their job and load everything that we requested. I should add that we were required to pay $1900 as a deposit, with the remaining balance due upon arrival. Again, we confirmed that we could pay with a credit card. Once in our new home, we were anxiously awaiting our belongings. At no point were we contacted or given updates. The 5-days came and went, so we called them. And this is when we were made aware that we had been duped into a moving scam. We were told that we would have to pay an additional $1757.30 by cash wire transfer direct into their account to receive our items. When we confirmed that they would be able to get to our new home, that is up a dirt road, they then notified us that we would have to pay a "shuttle fee" of $875. We pushed back, and they dropped it to $450. At that point I phone Allied Moving Group to contest the charges, ask for the actual weight of our items in pounds NOT cubic feet, contest the shuttle fee since we told them up front that is what we needed, and contest not being able to pay by credit card. The owner of Allied Moving Group became irate. She hung up on me. I called back, she hung up immediately. I called back again and she had disconnected the phone. Fast forward to moving day. We paid the $2200 in cash to them because we wanted our items. About midway through the unloading of the truck, my husband noticed that there was a lot of things missing. The driver THEN tells us that those items had been left behind in California and were sitting in a warehouse. At no point were we notified that this would happen. At no point were we given the option to have our items arrive in one shipment vs two. They currently have over $7500 worth of our furniture. They will not give me an ETA, nor an exact cost. Because, of course, they want to charge us another shuttle fee, even though they purposely left the items behind without our knowledge. Eric, the manager, after things got heated on the phone, told me he was recording my conversation with him. At no point at the beginning of our conversation did he tell me our conversation was being recorded, which is a Federal and State Law. As of today, they are asking for another $1903 to deliver the approximate $7500 worth of furniture that they are holding hostage. Had I known we would be using Sky Van Lines, I could have done my research and see all the other reviews. If you go online and research moving scams -- this company hits every single bullet point. This whole experience has been a bait and switch scam.
