Thr Skyline Wilderness Area provides great running (and hiking and biking) trails in the heart of Rapid City. They offer great views, and link into the city bike path system. They are a great way to get away into nature without leaving town.

Good quick hike for after work or lunch break if you don't have time for a day hike.

The swa is my go to for after work rides. The people who take care of the trails should be acknowledged.  Thank you for keeping up on it!

Hard to get off the road to park and see the city at night. Parking areas not marked well.

You get beautiful views of both sides of town.  Pretty easy hike.
