Great trail and cheap! Just $5 and there's lots of options for length you want to walk. The main trail can be hot and steep, but there are some rocks and shaded areas where you could sit on the ground to catch your breath. Could use some benches, but love the area and I've seen squirrels and woodpecker regularly. Love the quail flocks when they come out near the trail. So cute!!

A beautiful park. Great place to take a walk and be one with nature. It's pretty busy on weekends, during the week not as bad. The staff is great always helpful.

I came here with a group of friends, and we were all of different fitness levels, but we were all able to do the Lake Marie trail without any issues. We also saw plenty of kids doing this trail as well. There is definitely some elevation to this trail so be prepared. It’s probably a smart idea to bring water with you—we forgot to pack some, but we still made it. The views along the way are gorgeous. The end of the trail is the most beautiful part so be sure to complete it!

A nice county park by Napa, CA. I went there to dump my holding tanks. Easy access, no problems. Cost was $15. Park is nice looking and the lady in the kiosk friendly and helpful. Campsites have at least water and electrical hookups. Maybe also sewer. There is not a whole lot of shade in the campground so hot days may be uncomfortable.

With all of the natural beauty of Napa county, and with enough tree coverage to keep you out of the direct sunlight. This place makes for a perfect day hike, as well as an excellent post-work loop if you choose to travel by bike. My advice would be to bring a camera so you don't miss out on the nature and wildlife photos.
