Have only been here for the spa, but my Esthetician, Nisha is absolutely amazing. Very down to Earth, genuine and extremely talented, book a facial with her, you won't regret it. But book EARLY, she is popular and often is booked out months in advance.

My wife was having difficulty finding a hair stylist in the Edmonds area. She must have tried every local salon, dissatisfied almost each time. Her wishes were not difficult: a stylist with imagination and creativity, well-versed in contemporary styles, and who listened to the customer's needs and wants. They all excelled at one wish or another, just not all of them.

And then she discovered Slate Salon. "Discovered" because Slate, though conveniently located on Dayton St, is one block east of Edmonds's main drag, 5th Ave. She scheduled an appointment with Dari V., who listened attentively to my wife's explanation of the look and style she hoped for. During the cut, Dari explained what she was doing and how each step would deliver the style my wife sought. Styling complete, my wife looked in the mirror - and smiled.

I was impressed as well. And the price is very reasonable for the quality of attention, care, and diligence received.
