SLO Plastering, Inc. (Lic. 759246) has been serving the central coast for more than 40 years, providing superior quality and workmanship to all of their customers, big and small.

The original owners, Terry and Cathi Evans, are still active participants in the day-to-day operations but have passed the torch of ownership to long-time employees Ryan Hepperly, Richard DeJong, and Mason Hungerford who will continue the Evans’ legacy of “pride in service and quality.”

SLO Plastering, Inc. (formerly known as Evans Plastering, Inc.) provides lath and plaster services to both residential and commercial customers, from custom homes to major developments.

A terrific professional facelift for my house! I have had so many compliments on the job SLO Plastering did--color and texture. Ryan and crew communicated well, met deadlines, did quality work, provided a clean worksite and did all of that with fair pricing. They even returned at no charge to do a repair after another contractor scraped a corner. I would highly recommend SLO Plastering.

I recently used SLO Plastering for a job at a clients house and found their work to be professional, but was discouraged by the length of time it took to complete the project. The job was to repair and patch around a sliding glass door that had to be re-installed. Then reapply a new color coat to the repaired exterior wall and the adjacent one as well for the best result visually. The total time from start to finish was almost 2 months and should have been easily completed within two to three weeks with proper planning. Again, the work came out fantastic and the client was pleased with the end result, but it was obvious the length of time to complete was a disappointment to the client and myself.

I was baffled by another review I had read, so I wanted to share my experience with Slo Plastering. I was in need of a stucco patch around an electrical panel that I had to have changed out at my home. The electrical contractor that changed the panel recommended I call a reputable stucco contractor like Slo Plastering to do the job because the patch would require inspection by the city. I called their office at 5 p.m. on a tuesday evening expecting to get an answering machine. A man named Ryan answered and set an appointment to look at the patch at 8 a.m. the following morning. The following morning, Ryan arrived at my house at 8 a.m. sharp. He quoted me what I considered a very reasonable price and said he had an employee available to lath the patch later that morning. I agreed, and the lath was complete by noon. I called the city for an immediate inspection of the lath as Ryan had said to do. The city said the inspector would be out first thing a.m. the next morning. When I called Ryan to let him know, he said he would send a man to do the plaster work later that morning which should give plenty of time for the inspector to come and sign off on the lath. When I asked Ryan if he wanted to make sure it passed inspection first, he said he wasn't worried at all about the work passing inspection and worst case scenario his guy would be there to fix the issue immediately. The lath passed inspection as he predicted and his guy arrived around 11 a.m. I greeted the worker as I was preparing to leave for several hours. His guy said he would be long gone by the time I was expecting to return and because he was using a more modern type of fast drying cement, the patch would be 100 percent complete when I got back. Sure enough when I returned around 4 p.m. there was absolutely no sign of anyone having been there. The guy left absolutely no trace of his presence except for the fact that the patch was done. Immaculate clean up and an incredible job on the patch. Myself and several guests who I have shown the area can't believe there is a patch in the middle of the wall. It's a completely undetectable transition from new to old which is impressive since the house was built in the 60's. Also impressive is the fact that the job was complete within 48 hours of me calling them. Their whole organization is top notch from Ryan and his guys to their office staff, very amicable. It is hard to imagine anybody else could have done the job better.
