The Sloane family first owned and operated the business in Northeast Philadelphia, starting in 1925. In 1978, Patrick Stanton became the owner, and since then has expanded the business. We now provide both local & long distance moving services, storage, and packing & unpacking services.

From the start of our initial call to Sloane, we felt a sense of picking the right mover for the job.  Their courteous and friendly receptionist put us at ease and answered all of our questions.  They checked in with us later to make sure we were ready and to see if we had any questions, and again, we felt good about selecting them.  The moving crew arrived on time and got right to business, but again were polite and friendly.  Even though we still had loose items, the crew took care of us by immediately ordering bigger boxes from the office for us so those items could quickly and safely get packed and be on their way.  They even dealt with our sorted items (and were patient when things were NOT sorted) to figure out how best to pack to first stop at the storage unit and THEN at our new home.  Very helpful.  Very careful.  We will use them  on the next one for sure!

The team did an amazing job from the final confirmation of move at 4pm on a Friday to turning up early on the Monday morning and getting us moved.  Even the blizzard last Wednesday didn't deter the move. 
I have many valuable pieces of furniture and not one item was damaged. The entire team were a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend

These guys are great.  Third time I’ve used them.  Conner came out and assessed the situation and gave a fair price.  Two guys came out to move and did a professional and efficient job that included a baby grand.  Highly recommend them.

Sloane was the best company to have do our move. Extremely professional and caring of our homes furniture. They arrived at the exact time they said they would and were in and out in no time! I highly recommend them for all your moving and storage needs. A+ all around!!

One week after our fabulous moving experience, I can finally catch my breath and write this stellar review.  Sloane stored all my precious belongings for 6 months.  The pick up, storage and delivery were absolutely whiteglove 5 star all the way.  Flawless!
The nicest, most accomodating men, ever.
Don't waste your time.  Don't call anyone else! They were the BEST!
