Great little place. This location is located in The Camp and parking can be challenging. We went for lunch and it was pretty full. Service was excellent from seating to walking out full and happy. Ramen broth was creamy and very good. Noodles consistency were great. We ordered the lunch combo which included side salad and an appetizer. If you do yelp check in, you get to choose one extra topping. Overall, a great place for a quick bowl of ramen. We will come back again. Must mention again, service was excellent.
Found this place at Bootleggers brewery, decided to walk over and try. We got here Sunday night around 8, it's surprisingly pretty full. Servers are very friendly and nice! The menu is really small, so you will pretty much likely to try to slurpin Ramen or the dry versions. The broth is very flavorful not so rich that you feel sick after, we really enjoy it. It comes with three chashu and big selection of vegetables you can choose. Yep, I'm that kind of person pretend to be healthy even eating a bowl or ramen. We got takoyaki and fried octopus as appetizers, that's right, we like octopus all the way. They both are extremely tasty and definitely recommend to try. Overall, place is a little bit pricey with minimum selection of ramen. But it is located so closed to the camp, walking over after date night can be kinda cute.
Amazing Ramen! Noodles and broth paired well together. Broth was very delicious and creamy. Got the extra noodle option and that was more than enough for my huge appetite at the end of the day. Maybe a bit too much. Not sure how much bigger the ramen would be if I ordered the extra broth option. To keep it short... Ramen portions are quite large. What really made this ramen special was the fatty pork. The pork just melts and was so much better than most other meat options I've tried at many other ramen spots. The egg was also marinated and cooked perfectly. Great flavor, color and softness. Definitely give this place a try. Food 5/5 and service 5/5.
Decided to check this place out since we were in CAMP and it was open until 11 when most other restaurants are closed. Service was prompt and friendly. I liked the ramen shop feel. These pros gave this two stars. Minus three stars for the cons: the food. The veggie ramen was a major miss and expensive for what it was. Mushroom broth and blanched veggies lacked flavor and style. It was a weird mix of veggies and noodles were plain, likely a result of lack of flavor and creaminess in the broth. The best tasting item was the tofu added for an additional price, as the veggie ramen disappointingly doesn’t have any protein-rich topping included.
Great food! Excellent service and nice place! We really liked our ramen and appetizers. I highly recommend checking out this place! The prices are very good and reasonable! The portions are also large enough! One of the best ramens we have ever had in OC.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: YesDelivery: NoCurbside pickup: No
Sunday evening, I waited for about 10 mins. Loved the Tonkotsu ramen bowl with Chashu Pork I ordered. Service was very good too.
Came here a couple of days ago and got the slurpin ramen. I like the consistency of the noodles, but everything else is quite a miss. A regular size is $13 and there's pretty much no toppings by default, no egg nor veggies, just 2 slices of meat and noodles submerged in a salty broth. Service is nice but right now I wouldn't recommend the place.
9/4/22, 1:01pm me and my family came here since the line to mitsuwa was too long. don't be fooled by the modern store front; the ramen here tastes incredible and authentic, so much better than mitsuwa. absolutely no regrets about changing lunch locations. i got their signature "slurpin' ramen", which is a tonkotsu ramen with black garlic oil drizzled on top. the broth wasn't oily at all except for the added garlic oil, but it didn't feel oily and packed INSANELY delicous pork and garlic flavour while being super creamy! the noodles were pleasantly chewy with a nice spring to them, and were a good serving size for one. they also offer spice levels going up to level 4; the level 1 spice had a kick, so don't get it if you have a low spice tolerance. customer service was also very good. we were seated immediately, and the server was very nice. i didn't catch his name unfortunately. the food came out quickly, which was a big bonus! overall, 10/10 ramen place. this is my new favourite for tonkotsu ever, and my standards for ramen are high. cannot recommend this place enough!
A casual and fun atmosphere, some of the best ramen around. The side adds are terrific and portions are good. Alcohol was recently added a variety of beers and sake. Good attentive and pleasant service made for a relaxed setting.
I love this place! You can't go wrong with Ramen. I first had Slurpin Ramen was in LA, and fell in love with this ramen place. I'm happy they have one down the street! My favorite is the vegetarian ramen. Excellent service. Great atmosphere.
