As always one of the biggest considerations for my family is allergy friendly places. Smack pie nails that department. They have Gluten free crust and vegan cheese making it something that even with all our allergies we can still find something to eat. They have a great atmosphere, great selection, and competitive prices. I highly recommend this place! The thing is, the food is also amazing. One of the best pizzas I have ever had. Very much worth it.
Meat the Smack Daddy! You've tried the rest, come try the best. Smack Pie is the best fast fired pizza place I have had, and I've tried a lot of them. Started and run by a family. It is not as a chain like a lot of similar places where you get the same pizza no matter where you go. The pizza never disappoints and their salads are great too. They are always trying new toppings from the local farmers market when it is going on and they have good seasonal pizzas inspired by the season. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!
Very nice place to hang out and order personal pizzas. Love the atmosphere and the great food. Great place to stop by at if you're in the area and exploring Lodi. Dietary restrictions: They had keto and gluten friendly options.
It was our first time here. We chose our own toppings for the first pizza and also tried the pesto chicken pizza. They were both good. It was spacious and clean inside and the workers were nice.
Always love this place. Worth it. In downtown lodi area. It has inside dining as well as patio. Good for solo eating as well as dates or groups. They have a menu of their pizzas or you can build your own.
Do you want an absolutely flavor packed delicious pizza? Then go to Smack Pie Pizza in downtown Lodi. I could stop there, but there’s more you need to know about this gem. Smack Pie is a family owned restaurant that features “build your own” and amazing specialty pizzas. Speaking of amazing, I’ve never been in a better looking pizza restaurant. The design is cool and unique. I had a good time just looking around! Back to the pizza. There’s been quite a few build your own pizza chains pop up lately. I tried several. Great concept. Smack Pie has them all beat. Especially when it comes to specialty pies. Okay, I was torn between a “Lip Smackin’ Sizzle” or a “Double Bacon Smack.” I told the gal taking my order that couldn’t decide. “How about half and half,” she said. Bingo! Sold. Check my pic of the menu board to see the toppings on these moth watering pies. Hey, don’t forget to have your pie topped with some of their specialty sauces for a killer finish. Smack Pie serves soft drinks, craft beer and local wines. I was raving about Lodi’s famous wines and the lady was sweet enough to suggest visiting one she thought was not to be missed. Nice. Some of the best pizza I’ve ever tasted. Great decor. Friendly people. You go, Smack Pie! Oh, and you should go eat and drink there. Seriously. Go!
Love this place but the prices are getting out of hand. For dinner for two it cost more than $80 for two pizzas and drinks. Yikes! Love the location. Wish they had better AC during those hot nights when that oven is just as hot as outside. Owner is always friendly and the staff is nice, sometimes the service is slow but the taste makes up for that.
Update: Tuesday, March 26, 2024 PM This is the third or fourth time I’ve eaten at smack pie. Pretty much an excellent meal tonight. It was FREEZING in the restaurant. I had a pizza with extra cheese, sausage, mushrooms and fresh tomatoes. It was good. We also shared an order of the garlic knots. They were excellent. Nice and toasty with lots of garlic sauce/seasoning. I ordered the chicken wings. They were good but the size was pretty much a joke. Six little cornish game hen size chicken wings for $8.25. Not worth it. I will not order them again. Remember these are only half of a wing each. You have the flats and you have the drums. So that’s actually three full wings for that price. Up the size of the wings a bit. Pepsi zero was good. Kind of a weird menu board. It shows pictures of items they serve but there’s no prices. Don’t quite understand that. Put out a complete menu of the items that you have! I’m sure we will be back at some point but no chicken wings for me! ————————- I haven’t been here in a few years. But my son likes Smack Pie so that’s how we wound up here the other night. No regrets. Food is good. Unfortunately there’s only one choice of pizza size and it did not fill me up. I had to order a side of garlic knots. Actually I’m glad that the pizza didn’t fill me up and I was able to try the garlic knots. They were phenomenal! I like them better than the pizza. :- It’s a busy place. Lots of diners eating out front since the weather was nice. Friendly efficient staff. The order does not take long to prepare. I know we will be back ! Parking: A busy section of downtown. Frequently it’s hard to find a parking place Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair and mobility scooter accessible
Smack Pie is a cool lil place! Atmosphere is chill and laid back even got some outside lounge style seating. Staff was friendly and attentive. Great selection of beer on tap and pretty sure they had wine available. Last but not least the pizza was good , not great , but it was good. Build your own pizza or choose one of there creations.
Fresh ingredients, quick service, nice staff! What more can u ask for!? We had a Hawaiian, but I've had many different ones there! All great! Vegetarian options: U can build your own! Parking: U have a lot of areas to park but it gets busy around 5/6pm kinda far from parking garage unless u want to walk off dinner or just enjoy a nice walk around downtown! Kid-friendliness: Been going there since it opened & my daughter only ate cheese pizza... Wheelchair accessibility: Single level
