I stopped in this salon only because my husband went here and had a good experience. I was in dire need of a trim, have not found a reputable salon since we moved here, didn't have the kids with me on this Walmart grocery trip, and went for it. Joce (guessing the spelling) attempted to taper my current bangs along the side and made a horrible error in judgement. Long story short, she left me with a chunk of hair on my right side that resembled a horrible side burn. My actual bangs that were cut by another stylist at another salon were mid nose length, then it dropped off to the side burn by Joce, then you have the length of the rest of my hair (1/2 way down my back!!). WTH?!? I have spent so much time growing out my hair and this was just an astonishing debacle of an attempt to trim my hair. I tried to be kind and point out what was very obviously very wrong, but Joce kept repeating her thinking for doing it that way and said my hair was "thicker" on that side and that's why it looked nothing like the other side...ug. I asked for someone else to come and help me out. Brandy (or Breezy from the handwriting on her card, but it sounded like she said her name was Brandy) came, checked it out, tried to explain what she thought Joce was doing, and instructed her to take $5 off my cut. Then, eventually she saw the extent of the damage, told Joce she never should cut bangs past the temple, and to not bother charging me at all. Great. My stylist is getting a basic lesson in cutting hair on ME after MESSING UP. Brandy attempted to blend the side burn in by adding layers with a razor cut. She did a good job over all on the majority of my head using this method, but on the side burn, even razor cutting it to "blend" it hasn't fixed the look of the beginnings of a short cut that was interrupted. I tried sooo hard not to cry while Joce blow dried my hair. Brandy sent me home with coupons, her card, and encouraged me to call if I had any questions. As kind as she was, there is no way I'm going back to a place that would hire someone who would make such a beyond rookie mistake. Walk past this salon when going to Walmart, just like I wish I had done yesterday. I'll upload a picture.
