Great place to stop and have coffee or ice cream or both. Curt  the owner is very nice and welcoming. Great customer service! The beverages were amazing with the choices he provides and taste! It has a shared patio in the back you can chill after getting your order. Everything is priced reasonably. I highly recommend this place and I will be back in the future. A must try if your a local or just visiting!

Absolutely amazing experience here. Kurt, the owner, is incredibly friendly, really cares about his community and his business. Very knowledgeable and they make you feel at home. The Foxy Brown cream is something I've never experienced and it was so delectable. I hope eveyone gets to visit this gem. Love to support Black Owned Businesses. We spent about $40 because we purchased a shirt, a bag of coffee, a half pint of ice cream and a coffee with ice cream and we'd spend another $40 in a heartbeat. Loved my time there.

We were on Colfax and popped by Smith + Canon. It's an incredible ice cream shop with nitro cold brew on tap.  What makes it stand out is the multiple flavors of nitro cold brew that you can add to make nitro floats pictured here. They also provide a larger range of option for affogattos in both ice cream flavors and coffee flavors.  I'm hardly ever over here but every time I am I make it a point to stop by.  My partner pointed out I forgot to list the flavors. I got the cinnamon nitro cold brew with the foxy brown ice cream and he got the Whiskey bourbon nitro cold brew with the butternickle ice cream.

Easily some of the best ice cream in Denver. They don't sell by the scoop but in half pints. This is some of the softest, creamiest ice cream you'll ever have!

The Thai Tea ice cream is to die for. Cool people, beautifully decorated. I was talking with one of the employees and he said the owner's wife is an illustrator and graphic designer. Their restaurant and art shows this mix of several African art styles blended together woth a modern twist. They take a lot of pride in the artistic value of their experience.

Smith and Canon has amazing coffee. They also have homemade ice cream. Crazy flavors, my favorite, the Butterbrickle then the peanut butter cup yum. They have one called the, El Chupacabra.  They do their own version of coffee and ice cream smith+canon which is an Americano with a full scoop of any flavor of ice cream.  Recommended icecream for traditional affogato or smith+canon: Butterbrickle, Xmas in your mouth chai, el chupacabra cinnamon, cayenne, and chocolate.  They have cold brews as well and do nitro cold brew icecream floats ice cream paired with a cold coffee brew.  Recommendation: Foxy Brown cinnamon roll and cheescake icecream with the Cinnamon Cold Brew. Yum.

Hands down the best ice cream I've put in my mouth, the foxy brown is to die for and the Thai tea flavor ice cream is a close second. I could spend a day here. I'm both lactose intolerant and not a coffee drinker but would gladly spend money at this local business. The owner Kurt is very passionate and experienced in his craft. I cannot wait to go back. 10 out of 10!!!!

Super friendly and cute little place. The coffee was superb. We tried the nitro cold brew ice cream float. The made from scratch ice cream was really wonderful and you can tailor your drink any way you’d like. They also have all the equipment and beans you need to have Smith and Cannon coffee in your morning routine at home! And a great patio out back!!!

This was a cute spot to visit on our vacation. The owner Curt is clearly passionate about his craft and picky with the quality of his coffee and ingredients. Highly recommend to anyone visiting this area! My husband and I got the cold brew floats which were delicious and hit the spot after a long day at the botanical gardens. Wish we could visit here again. Husband says best ice cream he remembers having, and I'd have to agree!
