My infant son and three-year old daughter have been enrolled at SMA for nearly five months. We truly feel at home here. They both enjoy the variety of activities the teachers have planned throughout the day. The staff members are very caring and concerned about the academic well-being and preparation of the children. I really appreciate Robin. She is open and honest, and goes above and beyond to make sure that the kids are getting what they need. She is reachable any time by text, email or phone and has built a great team of teachers and staff. One of my personal, favorite things about the school is the large, open playground and the Missouri Department of Conservation outdoor classroom. Great opportunity for outdoor play and learning.

My children went to school at the Smithville Montessori Academy II and after graduating, my children have remained learning-loving children. They also like to write. The most impact that Montessori had on them is in their independence. Besides being very smart in school (honor students), they are very considerate of others and they take good care of themselves as well. The faculty is warm and caring. The classrooms and other ares are just awesome- CLEAN and ROOMY.

My 5yr old daughter has been attending for 2 years. She has blossomed and learned so much here. She absolutely loves it and the staff is great!

My son is on his 4th year at SMA. The most important thing in my world is that my child is SAFE. The front door is locked at all times with a fingerprint ID pad to get in. The playground is secured by a tall fence and there is plenty of staff supervision at all times. The school is always clean, organized and welcoming. I have stopped by several times unannounced over the years and have found my son working, playing outside, sitting at a table eating lunch and having a great time with his friends. I trust Robin and Noel not only to take care of my son, but I also trust them enought to refer SMA to my friends and co-workers in blue.

If you plan of a future employment with this inadequate school think again!!!!! They run cheap no good false background checks and then at the end of your work day make you feel like a criminal and liar and make you feel that they will run a true adequate background check which they never do. When you call them to check the status of this error of the .99 cent background check they lie and tell you they will call you or that Robyn is out or in class and she never returns the calls, I know this because I worked there for two days, and had friends that worked there and were treated the same. You parents who have children there should make a suprise visit someday and see how your children are truely treated by being made fun of and called cruel names. They speak to the children in a very mean and demanding voice that scares the children. The children are also threatended because sometimes they don't want to fall asleep and what child would want to fall asleep with a threat hanging over their heads. In my opinion I feel that this school should be investigated by the atthorites and the parents as soon as possible. They are not the type of people and school that is presented to you when you go to enroll your child in this daycare because they are backstabbers and talk about you and your children once you leave your child in their care. This school needs to be SHUT down NOW! They ask teachers who have degrees in education to step down and have high school students come when they know nothing about children. They treated this teacher so badly she quit. They also had a worker who also had a degree fired because her doctor said she could not work because she had mono and they wanted her to work while sick. Be carefull if you want a job here or if you leave your kids in the care of these glorified babysitters.
