Worst social services dept I have ever seen.  They don't have to treat you like a human being because they know you have no other choice but to put up with their irresponsible handling of cases and their insulting attitudes.  I wouldn't give them any star if that was possible. It's like they have a contest going to see who can be the least respectful of the people they are supposed to be helping.

In the last 3 months, they have assigned me 3 different case workers as all the case workers keep leaving. When I was up for my renewal, I called to find out what was going on, they apparently never updated my address when I had called to update it and I had to fill out a new application all over again. When I called them for other issues, she never picked up. I left a message each week for 3 weeks, never heard a word. a week later she wasn't working there anymore.. They need to get it together here in Stafford County.

Update: apparently after leaving two messages last week with my last known case worker,  they switched again on me and I was unaware. The old one never returned my calls but actually picked up her phone for once.  New one I have yet to hear back from. Have also been trying to fax something and the number online is wrong,  receptionist won't answer or return calls either.

my daughter was diagnosed with cancer March 28, 2017. while in the hospital i was told that her insurance had expired, which i got nothing in the mail stating that. the social worker in the hospital had me fill out more forms for her insurance. She was released from the hospital April 6, 2017. which on that day i had to pay out of pocket for all of her medications. i have been calling since we were was released just to get the process going for a waiver for her child care she will needs, as well as information about her insurance. I have yet to get any call back, and answered calls anything.

They never return calls, answer the phone or return emails. They always have an attitude when you speak to them and are far from helpful. Worst county service ever

Seriously most useless people I've ever spoken to in my life. NEVER answer the phone, NEVER return calls despite how many messages you leave, always ASSHOLES for no reason. Simply useless I don't know how these people have jobs still.
