Before Bully's and the mega sports bars, this is what sports bars used to be, smaller, more mellow. They have Sneakers in Stead and Reno as well, and the service is always really good. The bartender here was really friendly and told me all the happy hour specials. I guess with the economy tanking, there's a lot of bars lowering their beer prices. These guys have half price beer from 4 to 10 PM and $4 appetizers. There's two rooms, one with the bar, and a side room, almost detached. They have a full food menu too. General bar and grill food. Go to 775 Gastropub if you want a real eclectic menu with sea bass and escargot I kid you not. If you just want a mellow, relaxed, sports bar or some grub, Sneakers will never disappoint you. It's what I would call a down home bar and grill whatever the heck that means. Not exactly a pick up joint for hot chicks though.
