Officer M. Mayfield positioned himself at the old police dept on Springdale clocking citizens coming down hill from 124 and issuing speeding tickets. When I asked officer Mayfield why would you cite someone coming downhill for speeding, he said that's what breaks are for. Velocity increases down hill and I feel that's entrapment; there has to be a better use of my tax dollars and a different way to increase revenue for the city

We had potential fraudulent activity (identity theft) through the mail. I called in as a non-emergency to see if they had any suggestions and, more so to make note should neighbors on our street have similar reports. The person who took the call was professional and helpful and did not make me feel like I was wasting their time. She sent an Officer to take a report. He showed up less than 10 minutes later, asked all the right questions - and again, made me feel like we did the right thing. He even suggested some excellent resources to help us through the situation. THANK YOU, Snellville PD!

I was coming from east atlanta to pic up a police report that I needed for insurance purposes. I called to be sure of the 5:00pm closing time and let the lady on the phone know I was 2 minutes away. I got to the station and the first door was open but they had locked the second door at 4:49 I had driven 40 minutes for nuthing. All I want is for the Snellville Police department to either say we close at 4:45 Or actually lock your doors at 5:00pm. Its better to tell the truth than to annyoy the people you are suppose to be serving.

Having an issue with neighbor and their loose dogs. Every time response was helpful and quick. Officers are expert at diffusing negative energy and helpful with working towards a resolution.
