Don't talk to the police when in trouble. They abuse there power. Lack of integrity at snoqualmie

Disappointed. I called about a (what looked like) 5 month old baby in the front seat of a convertible (top down.) This was the discussion:

Operator: Hello, Snoqualmie police 
Me: Hi, I just saw some guy in a VW convertible, top down,  with what looks like a 5 month old baby in the passenger seat.
Operator: So you're calling because...
Me: Isn't that illegal? 
Operator: Depends on the car *major attitude*
Me: four door convertible and back seats were open. I'm calling cause I believe it's a safety issue.
Operator: *major attitude again* Okay, thanks. 

I ended up doing the research and found that it's only "practical" to have kids under 13 in the back seat. I still think it's wrong, especially when it comes to a baby. I'm more frustrated with the attitude I received from the operator. Her demeanor was so careless and like talking to me was a waste of he breath. She could have at least quickly explained that it's only "practical" then that would have been great, but she was rude.
