Sobremesa
"SOBREMESA is a Spanish tradition referring to the time you spend at the table after you’ve finished eating. In New Mexico, it’s a time spent engaging with friends and family, sharing stories and of course, drinking quality local craft beer. We’re proud to bring the newest restaurant & brewery to the west side of Albuquerque and look forward to meeting you all."

We have come to this Brewery off and on since they opened. Initially they were fantastic in every way that you would expect from an establishment trying to serve an upscale brewery style menu. Unfortunately every trip here in the last several months has gotten worse. Today's frustrating adventure started with service that was friendly but incredibly slow. It took over 35 minutes to get a beer. The food has turned from fantastic previously but now it is mediocre at best. Chips and fries were full of grease, fish and chips had a heavy greasy batter, and the empanadas were unseasoned dry meat wrapped in an somewhat edible crust. We also had the tacos and a cheeseburger. Both of those entrees were about as good as a fast food joint. I wish I could report that the beer was as good as it has been in the past but after sampling two and settling on the best of two bad choices, I couldn't even finish my beer it was that bad.
My husband and I stopped there for lunch yesterday and really enjoyed it. The green chile cheese fries were excellent. The beef and cheese empanadas were good, but next time, I think I'd try a different kind. My husband really liked his fish and chips and beer. Service was friendly and prompt. Will definitely be going back.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
First time here. What a treat! Serena was our server and she was wonderful! The Buffalo cauliflower appetizer was really good. The meal was great. The calabacitas were lightly seasoned and very fresh. We were too stuffed for dessert this time but we will be back and have that. I love that they have a root beer float on the menu too. This was a wonderful dinner. We can't wait to come again. UPDATE. Had the wings this time... very good!! Lived the spice. The blue cheese was a bit thin for my taste but it was "ok". Great service again!
Overall it is great food. I ordered the 4 empanadas for $10 and I got two adobadas great juicy and good tasting a beef and cheese they use pulled beef and not ground which is a huge plus and carnitas a little dry but good go for beef overall friendly staff and great food. I did not try the beer made here but will in the future. Work a try.
I had the carnitas empanadas, they were packed full, moist with flavor. The beef and cheddar Empanadas were very good. the Dos anos ale was great. The service was fantastic and very helpful. The food took a bit while not too busy so be ready to take your time. everything was great. would recommend it.Food: 5/5
So thankful we found this place on our last night in ABQ! Nelly Janelle was our waitress and she was AMAZING! The food was delicious! Fish & Chips with several sauces, Salmon with a sub for the Roasted Brussel Spouts was perfect! They have a cider beer that was recommended and a perfect pairing as was my Sangria! This place had a great atmosphere too!
Service was decent - not any different from most bar/restaurants. Selection on tap is good. I ordered the BBQ pulled pork sandwich and it was very tasty, but the salsa which came with the Chips and salsa/flautas was not spicy AT ALL. If you're looking for spicy/tasty chile I'd go elsewhere because this place goes very mild. Interior is very nicely done.
A beer and two delicious tacos for $10! Service was great! The beer, salsa and chips were spot on! We tried 4 different tacos and they were all unique and high quality. They also looked great on the plate. We will be returning soon!
The service was excellent and they are very friendly. The food was really good I had fish and chips my husband had the chicken sandwich. A little pricey but definitely worth it. The green Chile in the chicken sandwich was delicious. The spicy spin on the coleslaw was very good definitely not your traditional coleslaw. The tabletop fire heater sets the mood for a date. We are very excited to go back again.
Fish and chips were pretty much fried batter. Hardly any fish within this meal. Also tried charging us for toppings on sides that were never ordered or received. To top it all off, they put an automatic tip of 20% for a party of 4, however, tip amount was based on total plus tax. Nobody does this except places trying to pull a fast one on customers. Not a fan of dishonest business practices and likely won’t come back.
