I never met Dr, Sochs in person.  My elderly Mother was always assigned to one of her Doctors-in-training.  She was seen for a variety of issues ranging from advanced dementia, bladder infections, skin issues and medication reviews.  The doctors were not well supervised and there was little to no follow-up on actions they said they would do.  It was impossible to speak to any of the doctors when there was a question.  They made it clear that the doctors had 48 hours to decide whether to call you back.  After 48 hours, you had to start again!  

I do not know how this office could be allowed to train new doctors.  There was no sign of accountability.  There was no sign of caring about the patient or their health.  Even though her specialty is supposed to be geriatrics, her clinic has no business doing geriatrics.  Older people have a lot of issues.  They need actions such as prescribing medications and home health care to be completed in a timely manner.  It should not require repeated calls and messages that may take up to 2 weeks to be resolved.

Look elsewhere if you are your loved ones need care.
