Live DJ, music was on point had me moving in my seat. Ordered Passion Sunset a delicious drink but the Henny Punch is stronger and a great drink. We had chicken fried rice and that was delicious, taste texture, amount of chicken just great. Had shrimp Taco , really good, too.much cheese not melted for me. The snapper was also delicious. Great local area spot to go to. No wait, safe area.
Very eye catching restaurant. Beautiful interior that's clean with great ambience & atmosphere. Made a reservation. Came here on a Friday evening and the place got packed by the end of the night. Also there was a dj after 9pm which played great music. Food was alright, nothing special. Ordered lobster mac and cheese. One lobster inside that wasnt chopped and mashed inside......It was also very greasy. Ordered also the brenzino entree...it was very salty... and it's served with the scales...so be aware. The side of spinach was ok...The side of mashed potatoes was perfect though. Staff were alright, not the most attentive... The hookah is from another vendor.../ business. Was very rough in the beginning and then started to ease. Just got plain mint and it was charged $40... Overall nice experience...but I wouldn't go again. Parking: Street parking available
Cool little bar off the edge of Queens. Midweek specials are available to drive some traffic inside. Decent playlist for music most times. Drinks are small for the price. Pictured is a vodka tonic with Tito’s for $12 before taxes/fees. Tacos are a nice size but I think they are $10 so you would hope do right. I saw and did not try as so ate elsewhere before arriving. Staff is nice. One tv st the bar so do not come on a game night unless it’s empty. Parking still a nightmare. Do not park in the McDonald’s lot.
Food - Good Drinks - Good Service - Good Entertainment - 5 stars. I had a date night here with my Mr and it was karaoke night. It had a nice lounge feel even though we were in a restaurant. The music was great, it was a mixture of everything. The DJ can actually sing which was a great touch to starting off karaoke. The food never disappoints. This is a relaxing spot to grab a drink in the middle of the week after work.
I loved the pitcher it was about 20 oz. with your choice of rum punch or mimosa, but the food options were very limited, a friend ordered steak and eggs and it came as a scramble with little pieces of steak but on the menu it said there would be a whole rib eye, the chicken and waffles was cold and the chicken was thinly sliced chicken breast or thighs not sure. They seem to take a lot of shortcuts. Here’s a boomerang of the pitchers
I went on a Wednesday..younger crowd 20,30s and too much smoke from Hookah...but the shrimp and grits were so damn good...omg..the grits...I thought I knew how to cook grits...delicious..Food: 5/5
Came out for a girls night with my family, had a blast! Drinks are 10/10, good Hennessy cocktail offerings, which is a rare find. Food was delicious, everything is seasoned to perfection. The main emphasis here has got to be the vibe, vibes on this Saturday night were immaculate. Great music, lovely staff, & the DJ was on point. All around a great experience with speedy service despite being a group of 6.
Went for drinks. Appetizers are always good. For a more mature audience of 30+. Music is always great but loud. Every time I've gone it's been reggae or dancehall. It's a lounge feeling but you can dance if you want.Food: 4/5
Food and drinks was good once it came. The place isn't big and when u went it wasn't a crowd just a few people like 5 tables but they was already serviced I order a drink on the rocks and it took more than 30 mins before I received it. It was only 2 waiters working and more people started to come in once I got my drink so the services became more and more longer.
This is a hidden gem! I enjoy going here! They have karaoke Tuesdays, and tacos and tequila on Thursdays! I also enjoy the fact that they have hookah! Thierry shrimp tacos are very good but omg the steamed snapper with okra and pumpkin is off the chain! The bartenders are very nice and cool, as well as the servers. It's a small place but they are doing big tings!!
