We ordered Social Sloth catering for a gathering at our house recently, and the whole experience was wonderful! Aybars and Burcay worked with us to put together a varied menu with all of our favorites that also accommodated the group's dietary restrictions. The dishes -- various vegetable dishes, rice pilaf, Turkish meatballs, and chicken -- were delicious and a huge hit with the group. Super easy to order and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend them for your next gathering!
Only came to kill some time but the dessert is to DIE for. And the Turkish coffee is bitter to balance it out and it's just an experience. Server guy was super nice and caring. Loved it all.Food: 5/5
When I'm craving Social Sloth, I can almost smell and taste the amazing Turkish food from memory. My favorite items are coffee, tea, meatballs, chicken and any dessert. I'm never disappointed. Fortunately, I have gotten to know Burcay and Aybars, who own and operate this amazing Turkish diner. With inviting smiles, they serve delicious, healthy and authentic meals made fresh daily.
What an incredible and beautiful space. It's small and cozy, with reminders to slow down and embrace life, all around us. The owner is just wonderful and so kind. My friend and I ordered and split Turkish desserts, and ohhh were we in for a treat! They were made with care and were so delicious! My husband and I LOVE to bake, so we can taste quality. It's rare these days to find places that are making their goods with such care! I also tried the Turkish coffee a different time, and it was a treat! This is a place you'll want to bring family and friends back to!
Tonight was our first trip, and we really enjoyed it. We sat outside with just perfect weather. The service was super friendly and helpful. The food was the star, though, and that's really the most important thing! We had soup, two different plated meals, and shared a slice of cake for dessert. It was all super flavorful, well presented, and with good portion sizes.
had baklava, tiramisu, and turkish coffee and it was all excellent. will one hundred percent be coming back for a meal! the service was excellent also, only downside is that there isn't a lot of sitting room.Food: 5/5
The food was yummy and cooked to order, but that is the rub, it was cooked to order. So there were a lot of people in the restaurant so everything was slow. Additionally, they wait on each table, something that doesn’t seem necessary. They could just have people order up front, but because the restaurant was packed the service wasn’t great because there were so many tables. They also didn’t have half the menu. My wife order three things, all of which they didn’t have that day. Again, if that is the way you run your business fine, but don’t print off menus, write it on a board for the day and have people order there. It can be a fun thing to be that way, but having a printed menu isn’t not customer friendly.
I love this couple. The food is incredible, the decor immaculate. Their dishes are so cute! The service is so thoughtful. Try the almond cookies and the tea. I've also taken Turkish cooking classes, and they are wonderful instructors! Check it out!
Social Sloth catered my daughter's bridal shower. The theme was British tea. The order was beautiful and delicious. High quality food for a reasonable price. I highly recommend Social Sloth Cafe for all your catering needs.Food: 5/5
Oh my Lord!! The sausage and eggs were a Chef's Kiss!! The eggs were cooked perfectly and the seasoning and bread were absolutely delicious!!! Can we just talk presentation!! Loook at how my Turkish coffee was served to me--- LOVE!!! As I crossed the street the owner said hello to me even though she had no clue whether I was a customer or not--- I was like wow I know this going to be a great experience and IT WAS! The seating area was nice, warm, and inviting. Definitely a 10 out of 10!
