If there were a way to give zero stars I would. My mother ordered a recliner in November 2016. They do not have the money to pay the manufacture and some my mother still doesn't have her chair. I confirmed with the manufacture that the style and fabrics are still available and they stated that they are. Lane, The owner even stated it was not an a problem with the manufacturer. When I call to verify that he not taking advantage of an 87-year-old woman he got hostile with me and offensive. I would not buy anything from them that had to be shipped.

Many complaint from closed friend going on three months past due date. He get in contact with them but they just go around the questions. Their no concern to his problem from their side. I recommend to stay away from this guys.

ordered chair 1st week January, it is now may 11th, no chair, update, now 19 weeks - still no chair. update, may 20th, no chair....update as of may 31 still no chair, 22 weeks, every time I call it is nothing but lies. update june 13th, still no chair. Aug. 1st, still no chair, in 8th month.

Almost 6 months -- and still waiting . . . Sofa Beds & Recliners in N Ft Myers, FL took my recliner order + full payment on 12/10/2016. I still haven't received my recliner as of 5/26/2017. After the initial "4-6 weeks" timeframe for my special order went by, I've called every couple of weeks. Same B.S.: "It'll be on the next shipment . . . oh, didn't make that shipment? It'll be on the next one." Until today, Lane Granitstein has said it's a problem with the Best Home Furnishings factory . . . but today he admitted "he's a small store & he got behind with the factory." He refuses to refund my money and simply tells me "it'll be in the next shipment." Today, Lane wouldn't even give me an expected date. Do NOT place a special order with this company. I wish I'd seen these other reviews BEFORE I ordered. STEER CLEAR OF THIS STORE. If you don't, you'll get the same runaround (and aggravation) that others are fuming about here. This store is very practiced in B.S. answers to "where's my recliner?" And all you can do is wait? I've had it: I'm calling Best Home Furnishings, my credit card company, and Tell Mel. In that order . . . P.S. I tried to rate them 0 stars, but the system makes me select at least one -- which is not deserved!

Horrible experience. Ordered my sofa sleeper on Jan.7 which of course they promptly charged my credit card the $1500 to order it and now it is March 21 and still no sofa. We are leaving in 2 weeks so am just hoping to get my sofa before we leave. They always promise 4-6 weeks and never deliver on that promise. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!
