TL;DR: Mediocre food for a reasonable price in a picturesque setting. I wanted to give this place three stars for the food, but the atmosphere is so nice I reluctantly give them four stars. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich which comes with potato chips. When the server brought the food to the table he also brought a ketchup container, which I thought was odd for a sandwich and chips. After my first bite of the sandwich, I understood why the ketchup was present. The chicken was absolutely bland. The sandwich was soppy and messy, held together by a toothpick on each half. Even with all of the toppings and sauces the sandwich was missing something. Ketchup was the missing ingredient. The chips were probably plain Lays potato chips. Way too salty. I would’ve preferred kettle chips, but they’re probably trying to keep costs low, which is a shame. The ambiance is the real star here. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor seating feels open, as if you’re outside, but still protected from the elements. Service was nice and overall operations seemed to be well organized.
Simple burger that was so delicious. Margarita was great as well as the chicken sandwich. Kids loved the grilled corn. Relaxed atmosphere with outdoor seating and indoor seating they nicely flowed to the outside.
I ordered a Caesar salad with grilled chicken to dine in. I got a Caesar salad in a plastic to go container inside of an aluminum bowl that looks like a mixing bowl. They didn’t even bother to put on the dressing and gave me a plastic cup with dressing. The croutons were stale and soft. Chicken had no flavor and tough. I may as well have gotten a salad from A bodega and it would have been better than this. They didn’t even both to put it on a plate for me. I had to ask for a plate and dump it on a plate myself. Also did I mention I got plastic utensils. What kind of a sit down place is this ??? Overpriced and Awful food !!!! never again. I rather go to Sweetgreen.
The staff was rude and a big rat ran across! We sat outside and a big rat ran across in the dining area. Super gross. Also our waiter was extremely rude and shortheaded. He’d leave our table while I was asking him something and he was very rough with placing things on our table just tossing it. Very weird experience. Honestly the food and first impression was alright, and that might be because we hadn’t met the rat or the waiter yet. Such a shame since it was recommended to us, but a lot must have changed.
I feel bad giving a three star rating because the steak sandwich was actually delicious. But the service was questionable, especially how we were first treated when we entered and placing our order. The staff are definitely at the wrong establishment.Dine in: Yes
This place just does it right! So much space, indoors and outside! Food was just spot on. The waiters were so friendly. Everything was delicious and fun. Great place for a burger and beer, but the menu has a great all around selection. One tip, the southern fried pickles were absolutely incredible! Yummy, unexpectedly tasty and delicious, must try that side. Enjoy
The best steak sandwich I have had in the city. Makes me feel right at home. The happy hour mojito was delicious as well. I can’t wait to come back to try out more of their menu. I am a big fan! This is located in the perfect spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of Soho while still having great views. Not to mention the restaurant is beautiful and the staff are really nice.
Got a $16 Cobb salad. It was exactly like the house salad from mcdonalds. Iceberg lettuce, egg, shredded cheese and cherry tomatoes. Other than the egg not sure what about this was a cobb. Offensively bad for the price. The margarita was a little above average - not too sour.
Amazing burger. The price was surprisingly low for the neighborhood, and the quality was great! The burger was really tasty, it isn’t greasy like most burgers you buy in other places. The fries were great, some of the best fries I’ve tried in Manhattan! The staff was really nice, and the wait time was about 5-10 minutes for my order. The place is airy and cute, with 2 bathrooms.
Wow! Love love love this place. High energy & great atmosphere & simply fun. The people watching on the corner is probably among the best out there. Service was excellent & friendly. Food is absolutely delicious & be aware that the portions are sometimes good enough for two. Worth every & all calories. Outdoor seating is great and well decorated. Highly recommend this spot.
