The food here is excellent. It's a great mix of several styles of food, all with a unique twist. Our burgers were all terrific, and the fried yucca was a great appetizer. Staff is very friendly, unfortunately, they were understaffed when we went before a Silvertips game. As the restaurant got busy for dinner, the 2 servers were unable to keep up, leading to some delays and our server forgetting a few things. I don't fault the servers for this, as they were doing their best to keep up with the rush. It would be good if management staffed a little more appropriately, especially on event Fridays.

Sol Food serves an eclectic menu that is often surprising, but never disappointing. The offerings change regularly and range from tasty appetizers to entrees that will encourage you to return to explore even more of their flavorful options. The portions are generous, the costs reasonable and not exorbitant, and there is fare for all dietary lifestyles from vegan to carnivore.

The food is so hearty, the atmosphere warm and lively, and it's all around jist a cozy and wonderful place to be. Though the outside doesn't look much, the inside has way more to offer. Plus, great booze selection!

After a long day of sightseeing, my sweetie and I stopped here for dinner. We had the tapas plate as an appetizer, with creamy goat cheese and black olives to put on some heavenly lightly-toasted bread. Yum! My sweetie had the pulled pork plate with rice and beans, and I had the salmon and mango salad. It was so good! Don't miss this place, it's a real gem.

I've only been in this establishment one time, this past summer (2017). A family of four, we were seated outside in the way back of the restaurant where there were three other tables. We waited at least 15 minutes and not once saw any of the tables being waited on. We decided to leave and go across the street to eat.
