When we decided to install solar panels, we researched and interviewed many contractors and companies in our area. We actually decided upon Solar Greenergy, even though they were out of state, because of the knowledge and expertise they possess, as well as the outstanding customer service we received from the beginning. When the installation was delayed due to weather constraints, we still were updated and kept apprised of the schedule, etc. Once work started, they were here every day until it was finished. They were careful not to disturb any areas on property except those involved in the installation, and were even going to send out power washing crew to get dried mud off our paved driveway..! Really....we said it could wait till the next rain.  Highly recommended....good, honest people to do business with.

After interviewing and receiving quotes from many solar panel installation companies, we selected Solar Greenergy to install a 10K Sun Power solar system on the roof of our newly built PA style bank barn in October 2011. 

We selected Solar Greenergy because they offered a turn-key, quality job while remaining sensitive to our budget. We felt that one of the benefits of using Solar Greenergy was that it brought with it, the expertise of its parent company, Summit Electric, which is a large, well-established electrical company employing experienced electricians. In addition, one of our priorities was that the solar panels aesthetically "fit-in" with the property. When planning the installation, the electricians took into account both the technical and aesthetic aspects of installation which was important to us.

Finally, we have found Solar Greenergy to have excellent customer service. Solar Greenergy continues to monitor our production and was quick to notify us that although our solar system was working effectively, our optional monitoring device was not.  They immediately scheduled a technician, without additional charge, to address the problem. They were accessible and responsive not only during the project but also after its completion. 

We would highly recommend using Solar Greenergy for solar or electrical needs.

The office staff was excellent and extremely helpful.  They helped us through the entire process and still keep in touch with information and willingness to answer questions even though it has been over a year ago we had the system installed.

The crew who installed the panels were very personable and were very efficient.  They were very knowledgeable and did a great job.

The system has been excellent and we generated over 7000 kwh in one year.

I recommend them very highly!

During July, 2013 Solar Greenergy installed a 7.2 kW solar system on my residence using 21 SunPower SPR-x21 panels and a SunPower SPR-7000m Inverter.  I could not be more pleased with the sales process and system installation.  The Solar system is operating exactly as promised and my decision to award the business to Solar Greenergy resulted in significant savings compared to other contractor bids.  All the positive reviews around this company are true.  Dana Diodati, Greenergy’s salesperson thoroughly understands solar system design, the rebate process and works tirelessly to ensure that her customers experience complete satisfaction.  All telephone calls and emails to Dana are responded to the same day if not immediately and she takes the time necessary to answer her client’s questions in a detailed and professional manner.  Finally, there is a significant advantage contracting with Solar Greenergy.  Since they are a division of Summit Electric, this company will still be in business when other solar companies are not.  It is for all the reasons above, that I give my endorsement to Solar Greenergy.
