This is my second review since over a year ago. Initially, I liked this place but it has gone downhill ever since. The reason: THE SERVICE...They don't care about the customer. "They" includes the management. Very BAD ATTITUDES and disorganization. Got a complaint? Forget it. Don't like it , that's your problem. They don't care if you never come back. Shame though, as the good is pretty good for the most part. But the attitude problem leaves a very bitter taste. Go somewhere where they appreciate your business.

My buddy from High School worked at this place and I remembered their pizza fondly, but I guess some things change. I was in the mood for pizza and didn't want any of the chain places, so I actually went several miles out of my way to visit Sole D'Italia. I ordered a 12" with sausage and mushroom and was pleasantly surprised to learn I could get the pie at half price if I purchased any size drink... savings! I got a drink and upgraded my pie to a 16", all for around $13. Not bad, but without the discount, their pizza is a bit pricey, especially considering the quality. The staff was friendly and the decor was dated, if not a bit run down. My order was ready in about 10 minutes. I had intended to take my food home, but once I got in the car, the smell was over whelming and I decided to have a slice. The pie had an orange look and I could tell right away that the mushrooms were from a can (very very disappointing). But the weirdest thing was the sausage. It wasn't the large crumbles I'm used to, but rather a fine, almost ground beef style of crumbles. The toppings had decent coverage on the pie considering. The pizza was not cut uniformly, some slices being very narrow and others wider, these are the attention to details items that make a difference. My pizza was hot, but did not taste fresh. The combination of the canned mushrooms, bland sausage and a crust that failed to deliver the consistency to call it traditional or thin, left me completely unimpressed. It lacked the individuality to be deliciously unique or the quality to even match up with the chain delivery places. I've had better pizza in the mall food court.

Really good pizza. Place looks exactly the same as when I used to come here in '77. Like coming home.

Meh. Used to really like this place back when I was in high school. Good pizza/wings and nice place to hang out. Now, it's essentially a dive bar that serves over priced food. Still see lots of families come here to eat sO I guess it's still a nice family place to eat out at.

This place is awful. I got some linguini and clam sauce a few weeks back, and it was alright but nothing I'd order again.. but today I've been craving some nice Alfredo.. I don't know why I called this place. The food was hot when it got here but, there was little to no Alfredo on the noodles and the food tasted absolutely disgusting. I called the manager because I wanted a refund on this order, he had the nerve as well as the audacity to offer me a free meal... It's sick and I'm livid right now because this was 25$ and I have to season and spice it up myself. Only order here if you enjoy tasteless food.
