I appreciated the help from the clerk when I shopped here. We were helped immediately upon entering. I loved that she analyzed my running and foot strike and recommended shoes based on my body's needs. She brought out a lot of options for me and gave me plenty of time and space to try them all out. I was glad that they let me run outside with each pair to see how they felt. She wasn't pushy but gave me lots of information to make my decision. She even gave us a military discount!

Had a really pleasant experience with Ryan at Sole Sports. He helped me figure out what kind of shoe I needed to suit my running needs and address my overpronation. I got the impression all of the people there were kind and had a lot of knowledge and experience to help you with whatever you're looking for. Will definitely be back!

I did some group runs with Sole Sports when I moved to Tempe about a year ago.  It was a really good group.  What impressed me was how welcoming they were to "the new guy."  I've moved around a bit and this store/community has a grass roots feel that I haven't seen matched in Illinois, Colorado or Missouri.  The employees all seem to be runners and eager to help.  I'm due for some shoes and will be going directly to Sole Sports over the weekend.

I always hated to shop for shoes because more often than not I would end up with shoes then stop wearing soon after. I stopped trusting sales associates because all they do is hand you shoes you want to try on. If you ask a question about their products you never get a helpful response. I went to BIG5 one morning to find a pair of shoes but it'd overwhelming to just see all the selection. I asked about other shoe stores and the associate actually referred me to this store. Best help I've ever gotten haha the customer service was great. Explained the past experiences and the guy asked me to jog for a bit on the treadmill. They record your footing and show you your results and recommend the types of shoes. Next he brought out about 4 pairs of shoes and tried one one at a time to see what I liked best. Made me compare one by one until I picked my final pair. They also have other equipment available for you to look at. I'd recommend this place to other people as well

I have purchased a few pairs of shoes at this store.  Brooks have come way down in their quality.  2 months since I purchased the last pair.  Was hoping to get a reasonable credit for my return for another pair. Ended up just giving them back.  I will not be back
