Nice people. However, for a simple breakfast we were not impressed. On a week day, late morning we stopped in. Only 2-3 tables occupied yet when we received our orders of pancakes, waffles and eggs the food was lukewarm. The butter would not melt. Pancakes and waffles were dry. Sunny side up eggs were half cooked with whites around yoke still raw. Wife did not get the milk she ordered but that is not uncommon in our experience; everyone makes mistakes. Reading other reviews, maybe the more eclectic dishes are their forte. I doubt we will return.

I was completely wowed by the food at Solstice. My wife and I had hot chicken and waffle sliders, a roasted beet salad and grilled octopus - all of them were delicious in their own right and combined, it was outstanding. I also highly recommend the locally-brewed agave liquor which had the most singular, perfect flavor to pair with our dinner. We will absolutely come back to Solstice for another awesome dinner any time we are even remotely in the area.

The food options varied and were very well priced. The appetizers were fantastic and had good portions to share, but you would want to get a couple different ones as they go fast. We had burgers and the pulled pork sandwich and it was phenomenal.

We second visit, first brunch.  Beautiful Sunday and a nice table outside.  Enjoyed the eggs Benedict with squash.  Just right portion and too much Hollandaise.  My husband had the skirt steak sandwich.  Again, nicely portioned steak and potatoes and cooked, seasoned perfectly.  La Columbe iced coffee a big hit along with a selection of Stan's donuts.  Could not have asked for more gracious and informed service in Angelica.  Easy to interact with other guests and those strolling from the farmers market.  Pleasant experience, and we will be back to enjoy again.

We had lunch here after browsing the Hinsdale art fair.  Service was friendly and decent.  The food was quite good, though it took about 10 minutes longer to come out than you'd normally expect.  Someone on staff was having some sort of birthday celebration for a young daughter or son  with several friends that was a tad noisy, so that took away from the experience and was very distracting.
