An Alternative to Chain & Mail Order. We accept most insurance plans including all CVS/Caremark, Express Scripts, Medco, Medicare Part D & many others. Somers Pharmacy has been helping people maintain a healthier life for 35 years. Located in Bailey Court and directly across from the Elephant Hotel, we specialize in prescription medication, home medical equipment, daily living aids and personal care items to improve everyday independence. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff is always willing to help and strives to ensure we satisfy every customer.

Top notch local pharmacy with attentive staff. Located close to a community with many seniors and pharmacy staff is always patient and attentive to make sure patients understand important information about the medication they are taking, and always willing to go the extra mile regarding insurance, issues with fills, etc...

Somers pharmacy is everything that CVS isn't. They personify all the good things about a local business, while sacrificing none of the services of a chain. The staff knows me by name and always go the extra mile to help their customers. They return phone calls and follow up - something CVS would never do. The newly refreshed interior looks great.

Somers Pharmacy is the shining reason big box retailers will never kill Main Street. Having been introduced to the owners Matt and Tim when my mother relocated to Somers in 1984, I'm now a thankful and happy customer nearly 30 years later. All that is good about locally owned and operated retail stores is embodied in the personal and caring service of Matt and Tim and their wonderful staff. Sure there's more stuff in the CVS but there isn't any heart. While Matt has recently retired, Howie and June and other long time staff have stepped up and kept the personal touch.
