Burger was ok and looks just like the pictures on the menu. Tater tots were crispy, slushee was cold and refreshing. Okay service and love being able to order from car or outside dining.  I give a rating of 3.3 out of 5.

Night crew is some baboons evidently, sat forever waiting for my family’s food with no one else there.. messed up order, couldn’t get no one to come back out had to go back through the drive thru, dude had an attitude about having to give me the right stuff. Got home all the food was under cooked other then my 5 yo’s kids meal where the chicken was crunchy and dark like it had been reheated/old.

Sonic is a very nice place to eat at. They have good food. But the Columbia Sonic just doesn't do that. They seem to have very slow service. You could order one thing and then have to wait 30 minutes. Even during the non busy hours its like this. Another thing I don't like is that they always get your order wrong. I've ordered the number 2 there multiple times and have not gotten it. All of the stuff I have said is very irritating but it doesn't compete with there massive devit when you enter it. Its so big if you don't notice it you could easily damage your car. I really feel like they should have a change in management. If it keeps up with how it is it will definitely get some violation.

Made a mobile order and picked it up at a stall.  They got the order out pretty quickly.  The only downside was that the fries were a bit cold, but otherwise the food was good!  The service was really great.Food: 3/5

Had the chicken sandwich.  It hot and crispy.  It was very good. Had the cherry limeade drink. Always get the lime wedges, but no cherry. Not today , had a cherry in the bottom. Yeah.  Somebody knows how to make the drink.Food: 5/5

I feel bad for the kids that were working the Sonic, Columbia, IL tonight. No way that two teenagers/early twenties should be working a restaurant by themselves on a Saturday night. Seriously!!! Lack of safety!!! Lack of customer service!!! Our order took forever…got home and it was wrong…returned to the store and took another 25 minutes to get two plain hotdogs. Shame on the owners!! I know we are in a difficult hiring culture, but that’s ridiculous!!!

Ordered my food through drive through was in a hurry so didn’t check my bag was missing the onion rings that I asked the car hop if they were in the bag. She said yes drove home to Smithton and no onion rings in bag. Tried calling store to let them know it just keeps ringing until you get a fax tone. Don’t understand why you have a phone if no one answers it…

Ordered 2 corndogs, an order of tots and 2 large sodas at 830 with 1 other customer in the stall next to use. We patiently waited for 45 mins for our food but never saw it and when I asked I was told the order was never put in. Outstanding job Sonic

Ordered last night at the drive thru window at 7:15 p.m., Me and My husband waited patiently over a 1/2 hour and finally nicely asked where our food was with the food hop.  He had walked around our car and delivered to people behind us that came after and other people across from us. He never stopped once to ask us what was our order or if they could check on it. I asked to speak to the manager they said they didn't complete the order.  We ended up leaving with out food and they didn't do anything to make it right really poor customer service.  I have called the Sonic customer service line.  Dont go to this Sonic in Columbia, IL

Sometimes service is good and other times its very slow. One thing is always constant though. They WILL forgot your sauce.
