Check The Weather! House as described except for one minor detail: no a/c. Stayed there for a wedding early June and got dressed in100 degree heat outside with 5 huge skylights uncovered, 4-5 very large windows uncovered, and 3 french doors uncovered. Had to be 120 inside at 4PM while dressing for the wedding. My wife's and daughter's make-up melted. No sleep for 3 nights as master bedroom in loft with no wall to living space so heat rose to unbearable levels. Other than that........

Earlier this month, I stayed at one of the Sonoma Valley Escape properties. It was a first class experience. The rental was super clean and everything worked great from the hot water to the wireless Internet. They even provided a wine tasting passport to quite a number of local Sonoma Valley wineries. A nice perk that saved us money! The property manager was super helpful and friendly. Very knowledgeable about the area, which I appreciated as I needed advice as to the best place to get a massage ... and a good seafood dinner! I normally stay in bed and breakfasts when visiting the Sonoma wine country. But must admit, after my experience with Sonoma Valley Escapes, I will most likely book with them on my next trip to the area. Highly recommend!

I am very familiar with the Sonoma area and I loved the Wood Valley Ranch. The quiet street, well kept grounds with vineyard, the comfy house, and pool. Definitely felt at home at this property! This property is truly a wine lover's paradise. Close proximity to wineries, tasting rooms and downtown! Will definitely be back! Thank you to Sonoma Valley Escapes for their excellent hospitality and attention to detail.

Do not use this company. They will defraud you. Please see the uploaded pictures and be the judge. I rented the Wood Valley Ranch for my sister's bachelorette weekend. The house was riddled with problems, only one of which was solved during our stay. The house had not been adequately cleaned. There were bugs smashed into the walls and mud in the bathtubs. The water was opaque and unusable, we were in fact provided drinking water after being notified hours before check-in "the water at Wood Valley Ranch is a bit off-color due to the earthquake. Due to some iron sediment. We have flushed the line, and the water should clear with a couple days of use." The water never cleared and the water was beyond off color. None of the members of the party were able to adequately bathe during this stay. I could have made other arrangements if when I called the day after the earthquake I had not been assured that the house was in perfect condition. I was either intentionally lied to or Sonoma Valley Escapes had not been to the site. As a result of the water quality the pool did not have adequate levels of water for the drain to work so the pool was filled with bugs and other debris. The pool area had also not been cleaned prior to our check in and there was glass on the deck and beer cans in the bushes. The internet in the house did not work nor did the cable, the outdoor/indoor speakers, the lights in the living room, many outlets, or the air conditioning. Upon asking for a discount we were denied and told that the house was in "lovely" condition. I also had a difficult time even getting the company to answer my phone calls for help.

Don't be fooled by the beautiful pictures. While the homes are very nice, the customer service of this rental company is abominable. If anything is not up to standard or as described in the rental agreement, don't expect Sonoma Valley Escapes to do anything about it. They will fight you and deny any problems.
