I came to Emergency after a car accident. Everyone i interacted with expressed genuine care. It was lovely. UPDATE: I've been back four times for Xrays, medical records, CT scan, and my experience remains consistent: I never imagined that a hospital environment could be so warm and friendly. Exceptional.

If you have a true emergency, Do NOT go here! Unless you want to be misdiagnosed by uneducated doctors who do not listen! By far the worst experience ever. Yes "maybe" they can stitch you up but if you have something serious go somewhere else ! If I could give no stars that would be the ideal review. Lesson learned the hard way unfortunately.

Very poor staffing with low skilled doctors and nurses. It's a hospital run on shoestrings and I would never think of brining my children here after our first terrible experience.

On the early morning of April 13, 2017, my 93-year old mother was transferred from Santa Rosa Sutter to Sonoma West Medical Center, (SWMC), what a blessing. God was smiling upon my mother to make this happen. From the time when the ambulance brought her to SWMC, the best hospital experiences started. Doctor Denno, Physician in charge is the best, warmest, kindest, most caring, most knowledgeable doctor whom I have ever met. She is in the hospital from early morning until almost 10:00 pm every day, Saturday and Sunday included. She visited my mother at least three times per day at the minimum, any time I needed to consult her, her door is always open and available. She helped me all the way through until my mother passed on. It is a very sad experience for me, but Dr. Denno and her team of nurses made my experiences a very memorable one. The team of nurses treated my mother are all like Dr. Denno, everyone of them is as warm and caring as Dr. Denno. The professionalism of the nurses are second to none. For the seventeen days that my mother stayed here, I stayed with her for fifteen days and have met almost everyone of the nurses. It is amazing that I can not find one thing that caused my displeasure. Under the circumstances they made it bearable. The RNs needed to be recognized are(by alphabetical order). Andrea, Christie, David, Dee, Hannah, Joe, Lisa, Lori, Mary Lou, Shawn, and Stephenie. X-ray, Breathing team, and Physical therapy team, food service, Matt, are very kind, warm and caring. This is a cleanest hospital I have stayed, trash, dirty linens are disposed at least two to three times daily, floor are always mopped and disinfected. If I need to be in the hospital then this is my only choice.
