What a disappointment... this was one of my favorite salvadoran restaurants...but my last visit was such a disappointment. Prices up and quality down. We ordered tortillas and they were almost as thin as the Mexican tortillas and so were the pupusas. What a shame.
The food is good here, the only thing that we didn’t like is a surcharge that they are charging, we ask the waitress and she said that the surcharge is a charge that the owner is charging on taxes that he will start paying next year, so basically his charging for something that it hasn’t even happened yet.
Well came in today and the restaurant gave me this they were so hard felt rotten didn’t like this told a lady that was in Charge of us and she really didn’t care she just said sorry it’s the peoples in the kitchen fault not my fault didn’t do nothing about it never coming back here ever again it’s awful
Excellent quality service! The staff is very welcoming and professional. Making you feel comfortable and at home as if you are part of the family. The food is very traditional and al prepared fresh as you order. Hand made Tortillas accompany each meal. They have a variety of freshly made fruit drinks. The building is a 2 floor, 2 bar venue with a cozy downstairs dining area and bar with TVs showing sports. The Upstairs is a larger dining area and bar with an outdoor balcony. Full bar is available with mix drinks and beers.
We had fried fish, fish filet boiled casaba Salvadorean style, pupusas and tamales. If I recommend it you wander? Yes, indeed!!!
It is discouraging that one of my favorite places to come and eat in California has raise the prices per took an away avocado I can understand raising prices everything has gone up we get it but why raise prices and get rid of avocado I’d rather pay extra for it I travel from Utah Just to come and eat at this Salvadoran restaurant and it’s unfortunate that the quality is going down but let’s see if they do something about it to change that.

FOUND 2 SNAILS IN MY FOOD. I had ordered my food and a salad came with it upon inspection I found a snail and told the rest of my group to Check their food as well. And behold we found another snail. We were in shock to find them because we had gone here once before and the food was excellent. Though my second experience was way worse after that we proceed to tell our waitress who then proceeded to remove the Snails and go talk to someone and came back 10 min later telling us that they would offer us a 10% discount or free food. THEY DIDNT REMOVE THE PLATES WITH THE SNAILS. We continue to eat but completely left the salad alone. I won’t plan to come again and I don’t recommend to come here neither.
