Story

At Sorensen, we value the process of arts integrated instruction as much as the final products student create. It is our intention to get better at sharing the amazing work of students' with classrooms, parents, and our community. Arts integrated projects should demonstrate evidence of student learning. They should include revision and reflection time. They should involve peer sharing, self-evaluations, and connections to big ideas. We look forward to finding creative ways to share these learning stories!

I never leave bad reviews on places, especially school. but as the school had one of their last days of school downtown at McCuen Park, as i was working an ice cream stand down there, an older girl bought ice cream for her little sister that was in the school. ALL the other children had ice cream from me. I watched as a teacher snatched the ice cream from the young girl and the girl just bursted into tears. from what i heard, the teacher thought she stole the ice cream. 
if your grown adult teachers act like children i can't imagine how teach. 
this was just horrible. & you could obviously tell the teacher is not good in a situation like this, because ripping a popsicle from a 9 year old hands solves the problem.

i had the best 7 years of my life at this school!! Basically was my second home! highly recommend it!!

My experience with Sorensen is the best. They have great respect for others I'm sad that 6th grade year is almost over😢
