Amazing resort! Darling cabins transport you to a mini European village. A wonderful place to stay during all four seasons! The owners and staff take huge pride in the resort and it shows in the care and attention that they provide their guests. The location is quiet and feels remote, yet Tahoe is only half an hour away. Customer for life!

My daughter and I stopped here for lunch when we were out camping. We had our dog with us, so we needed to find a dog friendly place. I went into the front to ask if dogs were okay, and the lady said yes, they allow dogs to be leashed to the front, by their raised porch, which had picnic tables. Cars park right in front as well, and their porch slats had room for my dog to disappear through. We leashed our dog, knowing that he wasn't going to be happy. I knew he would be yipping all through the lunch. But, whatever, that's their policy. So, we sat at the picnic table and waited. There was an older gentleman who is paying attention to the table behind us that had some familiar guests, and further on from them, a couple of people sat down a few minutes after us. The man asked them if they wanted something to drink, and then held a finger up to us meaning to wait a minute. He brought a couple of brochures for the resort and said here's some reading to keep you occupied while you're waiting. We waited a while waiting for the waitress to come take our order. It took awhile for her to come, we placed our sandwich orders, and then waited for it to be brought out. It took forever for ours to come, and halfway through our lunch the lady came over and said please go get your dog because your dog is disturbing the rest of the guests. In addition, a few minutes after we got our sandwiches, the umbrella at our table was lifting a bit because it was rather breezy and it's pole was not in the base underneath the table, which didn't help with its stability. The lady that told us to collect our dog came over, and said she would have to close the umbrella because it was lifting up. She wasn't very polite or nice, and frankly she was kind of rude. We've been finished our sandwiches with full sun beating on us. By the time we left here I was really, really upset. I wouldn't recommend this as a lunch place for a dinner place, as the food was not that great. The young lady who was our waitress apologize for the way saying they were short-handed. How long does it take to make a tuna sandwich? This place is overpriced and not worth it. Not to mention the rudeness of the lady.

Nice quaint resort. Came in for their beefstew, too bad they have none for the day. It's ok, nice service overall and shared tables allow the to mingle and meet other people.

The service is lacking to say the least. Honestly, the staff was rude. Even my sweet wife was disrespected. Our fall color trip was dimished by the way we felt when we left. We cannot believe they have even 1 good review. Those lucky guys
