I enjoyed my meal, as did the other members of my group - Tourist Guide Association of Toronto members out for a social dinner. Service was friendly and the food was very good. Portions were generous and price was reasonable. I’d like to see a bit more attention paid to the beer list, but that’s more of me just being a beer guy.Food: 4/5
Celebrated a friend's birthday here last night and the staff here made it a really great experience. They were super accommodating as we had to add a guest to our reservation at the last minute. The vibes were fantastic as they had live music playing. We ordered a few appetizers - the three spread platter, calamari, and saganaki. All were solid, with plenty of pita supplied with the platter. I usually get the pork souvlaki to compare when going to a Greek restaurant in Toronto. Highly recommend it here as it was juicy and tender. Personally would not recommend the gyros as I found the texture to be a little odd - seemed like it was boiled or something. Overall pretty generous portion sizes. Special shout-out to Agapios for being so kind and providing dessert on the house for the birthday girl, lighting sparklers and having the music group sing happy birthday for her. They really went above and beyond to make it a great experience for her and we really appreciate it.
Came here for Winterlicious dinner. The atmosphere was nice, had live music on a Friday night. The food came in a timely manner. It tasted okay, I have had better Greek food. It did come out fresh and fairly fast, however it was lacking some flavour.
Overall a fantastic place, I came here for their winterlicious menu and the food, the friendly staff and the atmosphere was great! Really enjoyed the attentive service, the flavour of the food and most importantly my favourite was the desserts!Food: 5/5
The lamb pie was flavourful and flakey/buttery. All the dips were great pairings with their pita bread. Edit: back for winterlicious. The consistency of Soulas is great, always a good meal with quality ingredients and portions whenever visiting. Tried their souvlaki this time and it had a nice char taste to it, as well as being really nicely seasoned.
My guy and I came to Soulas on a busy Saturday night before a concert at The Danforth Music Hall. It's such a beautiful little spot - they had it decorated nicely for Valentine's Day, and it had a warm and cozy atmosphere. The service was prompt and friendly, although the tables were quite close together - it didn't hinder our experience much. We ordered saganaki to start, and it was delicious! I had the moussaka, and my guy had the vegetarian moussaka. Both were amazing! We highly recommend it if you're checking out the Danforth.
Great classic Greek food. Place was super busy, but our food came quickly. Will definitely keep in mind next time we’re in the neighbourhood.Food: 5/5
Food was very tasty and service was amazing. We went on a Saturday night and they had live Greek music which was entertaining. Will go again for sure Food: 5/5
THANK YOU!!! I was surprising my boyfriend for his birthday...I've not been to Soulas and little did I know he's already a fan lol I absolutely love the atmostphere. I couldn't stop glancing at the ceilings and decorations. Thank you for the delicious food, amazing service and the birthday treats and song. It was more than a 10/10 experience. Here's Looking forward to our next visit.
I came here for summerlicious, I chose the garides shrimp, the lamb entree, and the ekmek kataifi for dessert. My friend got the chicken souvlaki dinner. The portions here are huge! We had to take our mains to go. I was impressed by the quality of the food for the summerlicious menu, the lamb was very tender, and the dessert was creamy and light. We were seated on the patio, but I felt like the service was still great. Highly recommend and will come back if I am in the area again!
