On business in town , my hotel restaurant closed looked up places on Google. I ubered to a restaurant but this place next door looked better! I am glad it did! Sat at the bar for a few drinks and dinner. The cocktail menu is extensive, and the food selections look interesting. I ended up with a great dinner with prompt and courteous service. That's all one can ask for!
The only good thing about this place is the decor and the cute hostess. The cocktails only look good but taste okay, below average considering the price. This seems to be a popular destination for younger crowds. The speakeasy in the back plays loud EDM music with a DJ, is that how speakeasies work?! Go in, take a few pictures and leave because there are many other options on Clematis St.
Great meal with the parents! To start we enjoyed escargot and oysters with cocktails. For the main courses we had Crabby Shrimp very rich and filled with seafood 10/10, Rigatoni Bolognese very filling 8/10, and Seafood Pasta 10/10. Overall great dinning experience and ambience. Brian at the bar was the best, you can tell he loves what he does! Came for valentines day dinner and it was the best experience, food was great and attention from Brian at the bar was top notch! Recommend 100%Dine in: Yes
my hubby and i did a double date at Sourbon with some friends of ours for NYE last night. the food and atmosphere were both great. i had the dinosaur kale salad and my husband had the fillet which you know i tried a bite of. both were exquisite. the atmosphere was really nice because of all the hanging plants and lights, but the music was a little but laugh. it was NYE though, and i’m a granny when it comes to music volume.. the only thing that wasn’t amazing was the service. our waitress was really sweet, but we couldn’t hear her over the music, and she didn’t come back to check on us at all, which i thought at first was due to the business of the night, but there were multiple empty tables next to ours. also, i had the lavender martini, which i do believe was the best martini i’ve had in my LIFE. highly recommend. oh and my girlfriend and i were also handed glasses of champagne when we walked in while the boys parked. they were not handed any when they walked in. was that about the sparkly dresses?
came here for a date night with my gf. The decor in here is gorgeous and perfect for a cute date night. We each got the margaritas. They were super cute but they were ok tasting. Then we got like 5 appetizers which were all INCREDIBLE. Grilled octopus - the sauce and the flavors were excellent Burrata - can’t go wrong so yummy Bruschetta -*chefs kiss* amazing incredible plated nicely too Calamari - the sauce was amazing but not used to boiled calamari but good nonetheless Charcuterie Board- could skip out since there were other better apps but still ok. I could’ve done without this one but still good Drinks- cute but bleh
I’m not sure why the stars aren’t higher, and since I had such a lovely time I just had to post the pictures I took and write a review because they definitely deserve it. Everything was so good from the scenery, to the service, drinks, and food .
good evening! everyone who needs comfort, warmth and wonderful atmosphere - welcome! I was lucky, I met the owner of the restaurant - a wonderful girl. Also, an excellent cook. I recommend creme brulee 10/10 to everyone. and also a bartender, does not spare alcohol in cocktails. I recommend to everyone.
Sourbon was a great place for drinks and appetizers. Was a little dissatisfied with the entrees. My wife ordered lamb chops and I ordered the filet mignon. Came out pretty tasteless. The place is very beautiful and a relaxed vibe. Definitely would come back for drinks and snacks!
