The South Fork Campground is well situated on the river and far enough from the highway so the car noise isn't too bad.  

The staff is friendly and helpful.  The sleeping cabin I used had no electricity, and they indicated the owner has no plans to fix it.  Too bad.

The tent camping is good since it's under tall trees, and not out in the open like most RV parks.

Most of the visitors are in a self-contained RV.

The restroom/showers were always clean and useful.  A definite plus.

Situated a couple of miles outside of the main town, it's away from most of the traffic.

Host/Owners are friendly, we love the location and being on the river is fabulous! Everything is clean and again the people are great!

Owners are so friendly.  The atmosphere was great. Right on the Rio Grande river. Showers and rest rooms are clean. I saw them clraning daily. The on-site laundry facility was great. Tent camping site#1 gave plenty of space for 5 kids to run around. Close to showers, potable water,  and dish cleaning area.

Excellent location right off of Hwy 160, but yet very quite.  On the Rio Grande River.  Pull thru and back in sites.  Lots of shade!  Rich and Terri are the best managers ever.  Very nice, helpful, and keep it clean but yet give it the feeling your camping!  Would stay again and recommend to anyone!
