South Hero Volunteer Fire Department

THIS STATION DOES NOT HAVE 24 HOUR STAFFING AND IS VOLUNTEER BASED.Members for the South Hero Volunteer Fire Department and South Hero Rescue respond from their homes. If you would like to volunteer please see each organization's website by searching the name.Both organizations serve the community of South Hero out of this building and work cooperatively to fill the fire protection and EMS needs. Rescue runs an ambulance and the fire department has medic first response.The SHVFD has four trucks and to boats. SHR has an ambulance. SHVFD serves the Grand Isle County Mutual Aid System.Both organizations are 501c3 and accept donations. See each organization website for info."
