My husband used to come to this park when our 10 year old was a newborn. It was close to our house and had a walking trail around the lake with lots of geese, so our baby enjoyed it. 

On a recent trip, we found that this park has significantly upgraded from what we remember. There is a fairly new playground with lots of climbing and spinning options (my four children ages 5-10 had a blast!) as well as nearby bathrooms. The landscaping around the pond is very attractive with mature shade trees and large boulders for sitting. 

The walking trail around the park remains as we remember, but all of the upgrades in this park make it a much more enjoyable experience for our entire family. We look forward to returning frequently in the future.

Absolutely love fishing here, there hasn't been a time I have went and not left with enough fish for a good fish fry dinner.

Small park that's all right in Overland Park.  It's small but very family-friendly and has nice  restrooms and playgrounds. Has a cute little Lake there's some ducks I think. It's really good for small children and has an asphalt path around it.

Great quiet little park. I use the loop (.42 mi.) for running. Usually not too busy.

It has a wild area right next to the parking lot. Also, has nice playground. The parking lot is kind of small. Seems like an error on the park renovations to have not put in two parking lots, or enlarge the existing parking lot.
