Excellent public library! One of the best in the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh system. The space is bright, clean and spacious. The staff is friendly and helpful. My kids also love coming here for the well-designed kids space with seating area and toys for little ones. This location has a huge selection of movies, music and comics! There is a lovely, quiet reading area with a fireplace separate from an equally awesome reading area (equipped with a vending machine) for teens. If the Pleasant Hills Library wasn’t so close to home, we’d definitely make this our primary public library.

The adult programs are engaging and relevant, the childrens' programs are fun and educational. The library staff are knowledgeable about resources for every topic, including special needs and accessible options.
The "Mind/Body," section is SO great, with CD's, activities boxes, books and books on CD - we are very fortunate to have such a valuable treasure on our local library.

South Park Library has a good selection of books, movies and TV shows. And they have e-Books too!!!

Also, they always seem to have a program, book sale or other activity for the public.

I would recommend this library to anybody!

Went to the Library to study for my CPA exam and had to leave because the lady's working were talking so loud that I could not focus. I tried to wait it out when she was waiting on another person but even after the person left the women continued to talk with no regards to the people in the library trying to read/study. I will not be returning anytime soon which is unfortunate with how close it is to my house. I am very disappointed in this experience.
