Mission

The Borough of South River Department of Public Works mission is to serve the community by providing clean parks, safe drivable roads, keeping the borough clean of litter and debris, keeping roads clear of snow and ice, maintain water, sewer and electrical service to the Borough.

To provide our staff with the proper equipment, training, education, and safety materials that are required under the South River Borough Code and other mandated codes to perform such duties and many other functions to maintain a safe and clean environment for the residents of South River.
