Story

Organic Fair Trade Coffee & Hand-Tamped Espresso roasted by Vermont Coffee Company in Middlebury--we agree, Organic & Fair Trade is a philosophy, not a flavor.

All of our food is scratch made and fresh baked on-site or sourced from the best local sources we can find. We offer an ever changing selection of muffins, scones, cinnamon rolls, bars, brownies, pies, hand pies, quiche and cakes. Our granola is made by us for you. We always have two vegetarian and often vegan soups and are adding meat-based chili. Bacon is now available to add to any breakfast or lunch sandwich, and we'll be expanding our sandwich options soon!

Stopped by while I was trying to kill time before an interview. The coffee was amazing, the customer service fantastic, and the options for treats were perfect. They have vegan treats and treats that are gluten free, along with "normal" treats. Everything was great and I can't wait to go back.

Good coffee,  friendly, relaxed atmosphere.  A nice stop to relax. The cinnamon buns are very, very good.

Extremely pleasant place. Regular chairs and comfy armchairs. Coffees, teas, and hot chocolates of various flavors. Sandwiches, soups, quiche, baked goods. Cozy, well-lit atmosphere. WiFi. A good place to dink some coffee and do some work. It’s usually quiet, but they also have some events like live music performances and chess hangouts. A very pleasant community space.
