I would say at least once a month the postal carrier somehow skips over our house. We are in the middle of a residential neighborhood, so it's not like it's easy to miss. My guess is that we don't have any mail incoming for that day, and so they pass right by. The problem is that it's almost always on a Saturday. Like most of the country we live paycheck to paycheck. Which means that most bills wait until Friday night to get paid (after our paychecks are deposited). Those bills get put out for mail Saturday morning. Long story short, of the mail isn't picked up because they decide to skip our house, then it isn't being picked up until Monday afternoon and sent our Tuesday morning. The bill collectors don't want to hear that a payment is late because you're mailman can't be bothered to stop by and look to see if you have outgoing mail! If it was an isolated incident I would let it slide, but it's happened many times!
