Whenever I can,  I volunteer to do whatever task I'm asked to do.  I like volunteering here.  The people are really friendly.  The job of donating, procuring, collecting, distributing and supplying needy people with food and necessities is a huge job and requires all our help.

While you'd think it would be impossible to get a bad review as an organization that feeds people, however, they have decided to distance themselves from donations provided by LGBTQ folks. How sad. Take your donations to a group that supports anyone who is hungry, not just ones that are homophobic.

Sickening! The Food bank refused money from a great group of people simply because of what other, more conservative, members of the community might think. The hungry don't care if the Gay bought their food, they just want to eat. I will no longer be encouraging anyone to volunteer with you. 

And then! To delete the comments from your Facebook page, and block reviews and messages? You know you have done wrong and have issued no apology, not that it would matter. 

This organization is a disgrace and does not represent the true feelings of our community in 2017. It's a shame that your close-minded views will effect those that are hungry around this holiday season. But you feel no remorse. You shamed the ladies of IP, they have been told "they should know" how offensive they are to others their entire lives. 
BRAVO TO THEM for being secure and sexy and offering to HELP the members of our community that you clearly do not care for. 

I will be attending their event, proud that none of my donated money will go to your hateful organization.

It's so disheartening that an organization that is supposed to do good in the world is homophobic. How dispicable that a charity who helps feed the hungry would turn down donations from LGBTQ+ individuals. I'm ashamed that I ever donated my time and money to SEMO Food Bank. This queer will be taking her donations elsewhere.
